This monster is literally Inevitable in Splinterlands

What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying this amazing strategic game on a daily basis. For those who play this game seriously the time is intense right now because there are less than 3 days left for this ongoing ranked season to end, so I hope you all have started pushing yourself towards your goals already and fighting in the bloody arena with all you have. For me, as usual, I am playing in the modern section and fighting my way into the Champion League to reach the topmost tier of Champ I. During this time when we are near the season's end, I try to push my account to secure a spot in the LB so that I can get some cool liquid Dec as a reward. But this season however, I am facing a hard time reaching my goal and due to not having enough rebellion cards in my collection, I am losing more matches in ranked and also in tourneys and brawls as well.

However, talking about my current stats, I am currently playing in the Champion I tier and after playing for quite a while today and draining almost all of my battle energy I somehow made my way into the topmost tier only today. This season I was focusing on my season chest count from the beginning and I have also started renting SPS to boost my SPS and reward points earnings and it looks like it helped me a bit and so far I have collected 80 season reward chests. Now having almost 3 more days in hand, I think I can collect at least 15 more but will try my level best to make it 3 digits. Last day I collected a total of 11 focus rewards chests which I have already opened today and shared the outcome above as you can see, I have got 3 epic cards and 4 gf common cards just from today’s rewards so yes, playing in high leagues like Diamond or champion season does bring you good reward sometimes.

Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about one of the most furious Card from the Riftwatchers mini edition that is currently ruling the arena and just like its name, many times it feels almost impossible to kill it down. Yes, as you have already seen it in the thumbnail, today I will be talking about Inevitable. So without further ado, let us begin..

INEVITABLE

Inevitable is a legendary type card that belongs to the Riftwatchers mini edition card set and this is an airdrop card and very rare in existence, so very few people actually hold this card and even rarer if we are talking about the max level ones. This card belongs to the Life element and it costs a whopping 11 mana to use this card in battles. It is a melee attacking type card but its main feature is not its attack power but the set of stats and abilities it is carrying. So let us now take a deeper look into its league wise stats and abilities below.

Bronze

At level 1, this card possesses 2 melee attack at 4 speed with 3 armour and 14 health and it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level - Immunity and Triage. With the help of the Immunity ability, it stays safe from any type of negative status effects and can also heal and can also heal any wounded backline monster with the help of its Triage ability.

Silver

When being upgraded to the next level, this card gets the same stats as of its initial level but it gets a new ability - shield. Now with this new ability, it will receive reduced damage from enemy melee and ranged attackers.

Gold

When you upgrade this card to the next level 3, it gets the same 2 melee attack at 4 speed with 3 armour and 14 health and also gets another new ability - Repair. With this new ability, this monster can now repair the broken armour of any friendly monster including itself.

Diamond / Champion

When this monster gets upgraded to its last level 4, even here it gets the same stats as of all its previous levels, but it does get another new ability - Strengthen. With this new ability now it can increase every friendly monster’s health by +1. So clearly, though this monster is not well known for its fierce attacks, its combo of 5 abilities gives it an unmatched defensive stance that will be very hard to fight against.

Battle Stat

Well, it was a large 57 mana limit match that I got this time and every element apart from Water was available in this match. There were 3 rulesets applied in this match - Blast, Fury and Divine Shield applied to all the monsters on the battlefield so I constructed my lineup accordingly. I chose the Dragon summoner Lilly Shieldpaw and I chose my main hero Inevitable at the front defensive position of my lineup followed by Oshuur Constantia, Chaos Dragon, Djinn Renova, Prismologist and Venari Crystalsmith at the end position. As the battle lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent has used the neutral summoner Lux Vega and he chose Arkemis the Bear at his front followed by Queen of Crows, Runi, Supply Runner, Lira the Dark and Raa at the end position of his lineup.

As the battle started, as I expected my Inevitable started defending the front lineup well where because of his Shield ability he was taking less damage from melee and ranged attacks and also I neutralised the blast damage by placing my oshuur just behind him. Not only that, he also used his Repair ability carefully to put a layer of amour back on it every round which saved it from multiple Big attacks without damaging the health. On the other way, the Constantia and crystalsmith were also healing it up every round and as you can see, the enemy monsters were facing a hard time just killing down my front defence while I was killing down them one by one and This way, I won the match easily thanks to Inevitable.
