Splinterlands | This Rebellion card has high chance to evade any attack

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and if you are a daily splinterlands player like me, then you must be putting all of your brain power into this game to earn as much SPS and reward chests as you can because only 17 hours left for this ongoing ranked season to end. For me, right now I am not playing with my own account and renting all my cards to generate some passive income, but soon I am planning to be back in the game once I buy at least 8-10 good Rebellion cards. But as I am continuously playing with a scholar account and battling in the Champion League, I have experienced the need for rebellion cards firsthand in recent days. Though I think it is possible to survive and maintain a position in the Diamond or Champion league by only using Chaos edition cards, you will be losing more against those who are using Rebellion cards and it has already become almost impossible to secure a top place in the leaderboard if you are not holding Rebel cards. That’s why as a player, my utmost focus in splinterlands right now is to acquire at least all the Rebellion cards of at least 2 or 3 max elements before going back into playing slowly but gradually, I am already working on it and bought a few rebel cards from the market which are currently listed for rent.

I have till now bought 5 different cards from the Rebellion card-set and as you can see from the screenshot above, among those 5 cards 2 are summoner cards and rest 3 are monster cards and 4 out of 5 of them are from Water element. As I have shared in my previous posts as well, I liked the Water and Life element cards the most in the whole rebellion set, so right now I am all focused and Working on my water element and have decided to buy the 5 mana summoner Rosa and at least 5 monster cards to at least make this element playable right now. But however, with the new upcoming legendary card airdrop and daily Rebellion pack burning mechanism, the economy has been changed and revamped completely and even after weeks of the start of the general sale, both the Rebellion pack and card prices have refused to come down by any means. If you look at hive-engine right now, Rebellion packs are being sold for around 4$ per pack which is almost the same as what these packs are being sold on the official game website (including vouchers and bulk buy bonuses). On the other hand, rebellion cards are also being sold in the card market for way higher prices than what we saw with the previous Chaos legion cards and right now if you check the card market, only 8 max level cards are currently being listed for, which clearly shows the high demand for rebellion cards in the market.

However, I have also started buying rebellion cards, slowly but steadily and always looking around the card market if I can catch any good deals on high-level cards. Just recently, I found a good deal on the Anasth and bought a level 5 (40 BCX) card for only around 51$. It is a healer + cleanse monster card that has a magic attack and is very very important to have in your collection. I have also bought a total of 40 BCX of Prophet Rosa summoner cards and only need 95 BCX more to upgrade my Rosa to the maximum level. In today’s post, let me share one more card that I have started buying recently and want to upgrade to the maximum level ASAP. As you have already guessed by seeing the thumbnail above, today we will be talking about MAR TOREN SEEKER. So without any further delay, let us start..

MAR TOREN SEEKER

MAR TOREN SEEKER is another great card that I really liked in the water element of rebellion edition cards and it is one of the cards that I have also started buying and want to make it max level quickly because of its usability. So let us get introduced to this card and find out what is so special about this particular card.

Mar toren is a common type of card that belongs to the Water element and recently got released with the latest edition Rebellion cards. It costs only 4 mana to be used on the battlefield, so you can easily use this card in small to medium mana limit matches or the ones with little league ruleset. Its attack type is ranged and apart from a good stat, it also possesses 3 abilities at max level. So now, let us take a better look at its level-wise stats below.

Bronze

At level 3, this monster card possesses 2 ranged power at 4 speed with 4 health and also holds 2 abilities - Ranged and Evade. It gets both of these abilities from its initial level, so we are getting a sniper card with good dodging ability even from level 1.

Silver

When we upgrade this card to Silver league or level 5, it holds 2 ranged attack at 4 speed with 5 health and also gets another ability - Phase. With the phase ability, this monster can now evade magic attacks as well with he same hit or miss calculation that gets applied for ranged and melee attacks.

Gold

When this monster gets upgraded to level 8, it gets the same 2 ranged attack but with a higher 5 speed with 7 health and though it does not get any new ability, the increased overall stats certainly make this card more useful in battles.

Diamond / Champion

When this card goes to max level 10, it possesses 2 ranged attacks at 5 speed with a whooping 9 health, but even at max level, it does not get any more abilities apart from those 3 that I mentioned above. It will need a total of 400 BCX to upgrade this card to the max level.

As you can clearly see, Its large health bar will allow you to use this card as a tank card and its high speed will help you to launch attacks faster every round. Not to mention that its high speed + evade + phase ability combo acts together and protect this monster from all types of enemy direct attacks - melee, ranged or magic and that is the main USP of this card for which I am so eager to buy this card in asap.
