Splinterlands | Land update is only some hours away!

What’s up my fellow splinterlands lovers!

I hope all of you are enjoying the day with your family and friends and also playing this amazing game in your meantime. First of all, I have a piece of good news for you all, the long-awaited Land expansion is about to be launched today on Tuesday as announced in the official Splinterlands discord! I guess all of you were waiting eagerly to see this day and so was I but finally, that is about to happen today. A new chapter is about get unfold in the game and this will be the biggest update in the game since its existence ever. A chain of reactions has started already around this upcoming update and as you can see in the hive-engine market, the SPS price has already started pumping and is right now being traded for 0.0191$ per unit which is really a great thing to see. I hope the update comes soon as I can't wait to see it go live and thanks to the whole team for their continuous and tireless effort after this update.

Ranked Season progress

Now looking at the splinter clock, the ongoing ranked season is also about to meet its end soon and right now, only around 3 days and 17 hours left in our hands so right now, we have to utilize it properly to gather as many reward chests as we can while focusing on our goals. For me, I am as usual playing in the Champion League and right now, I am sitting just above the borderline of Champion I with a current trophy count of 4,309. Today I rented a lot of cards to battle well in the season end but still, I lost so many matches today and even playing after hours and draining down my energy bar from 50 down to 0, I am still standing far away from the top 10 lb position which is my goal. With another almost 4 days in hand, I still have plenty of time to reach my goal but not to forget that there also a good number of players with the same goal in their mind so it is pretty hard to compete and teach to the top 10. Now looking at my season progress, till now I have collected a total of 69 season chests which is but low than usual and looking at the time frame, I think I can gather another 10-15 season reward chests at max if I can manage a better winning rate than today, but only time will tell that. For today’s mission I got the Flying as my focus mission rule and as I played extensively today and used all my 50 energies, I am able to collect a whooping 21 focus reward chests which I will be opening by tomorrow morning. Now, so far in this ongoing season I have only got 1 good reward so far by pulling a gold foul epic card from one of the focus chests, but my heart is telling that something good about to het appeared from these bunch of 21 focus chests tomorrow, let’s see if I can finally get a gold foil legendary or a big chunk of SPS tomorrow from these reward chests or it will be just another normal day with just rare and common cards or single digit SPSs.

Rebellion General Sale

Now, on the other hand, the Rebellion edition cards are also soon to get added in the modern format gameplay when the general sale starts. Right now, only around 8 days and 20 hours remaining for the general sale to go live and all the best for those who are preparing to purchase packs in the upcoming sale. A total of 9 million packs will be listed for the general sale and the price and offers will be same as of the pre-sale. As the Rebellion cards gets added into the game, it will replace the Untamed series cards from the modern format and we can only play with Chaos Legion and Rebellion cards in the modern format there after, but Untamed with all of its previous series cards will be usable in wild format gameplay. Gladly I have already maxed out my whole chaos core set and also most of the Riftwatchers mini set as well, but as the Rebellion cards are soon to be added in the game, I now have to start saving money to buy them all slowly and add them One by one into my collection. This will be lengthy process for me I guess, because there will be around 90 cards in rebellion core edition if I remember correctly.

My SPS Stake

Last but not least, my staked SPS wallet has been growing nicely in the background as all my staked SPS earnings are being added everyday back into my wallet. Currently, I have a total of 148,353 SPS staked in my wallet and I am pretty sure I will hit the 150k milestone by the middle of next season or even after this season end if I get lucky with the season rewards. My goal is to stake at least 200k SPS into my wallet so that I can earn a good amount of SPS per ranked win and also decent staking rewards from my SPS stash. As the price of SPS is rising well, especially after the land release news today, I am Really happy to see the total USD value of my SPS stash rising slowly as well and currently it is showing 2834$ and I believe pretty soon it will cross 3000$ as after the land update get live, many people will start converting their SPS for DEC to be used in the land to start the earnings. Anyway, I am Pretty hyped up about this Land update and hope everything goes smoothly with the update.
