Splinterlands | I reached staking total 120k SPS today

What’s up my fellow splinterlands lovers!

I guess all of you are doing well in your life and desperately waiting to enjoy the upcoming weekend with your family and friends. But for those who play the splinterlands game, the next 3 days will be quite engaging and hectic as well, because only 2 days and 17 hours left for this current ranked season to meet its end. I guess most of you who take this game seriously, have a decent card collection and play this game on a regular basis are right now fighting with their level best to accumulate as many reward chests in both daily focus and season reward section before the time runs out. If you ask me, it is definitely a good season going for me and as I was busy with some real life hurdles recently, I couldn't give this game enough time and neglected playing the entire first week which caused me to get a much lesser amount of season reward chests than usual. However, I am back now and been playing like a maniac since the last day and trying so hard to compensate the loss by overplaying and will continue to do so until the season ends. Looking at my season performance right now, I have collected only 57 season chests till now and having another almost 3 days in hand, I guess I can gather another 10-12 at least but will try to stretch it to 13 more so make it a total of 70 reward chests by the season end. But gladly, as they are champion level season chests I am hopeful that they will bring me better rewards than Diamond level.

I used to be a Diamond league player and used to playing constantly in the Diamond almost for almost a year now, but now that I have a complete chaos legion set and also most of the RW edition cards, I recently decided to level up my playing and start playing in the top most league of Champion instead of Diamond. I have been doing so since last 2 season excluding this ongoing one and the result is amazingly amazing, especially when I look at the increased amount of rewards I am getting now. When I used to play in the Diamond league, I was getting around 4 - 5 SPS per ranked match win but now as ai am battling in the Champion league, I am getting 7 - 8 SPS for the same ranked win and sometimes when I am getting lucky enough to make a good win streak, I am even getting 10 SPS or above sometimes, which was impossible to get if playing in Diamond league. So, I am glad that I have taken this decision thou I was scared at first upon that fact that Champion OG players will beat me up and down and my earnings will also get affected badly. Not only that, I have also noticed that the rewards that I pull now from both daily focus chests and season chests are a but better now than that of Diamond league. Nowadays I often get 2 digit SPS tokens from those chests and on rare occasions 3 digits sometimes as well, which is definitely helping me get more SPS over time. I am also getting more and better cards and other in-game items like chaos packs, merits and potions at a better rate than before. Would you believe it, recently I pulled 3 x gold foil legendary headhunter cards from a single focus chests whereas after months of playing in Diamond league, I have only gotten 1 gold foil legendary card only till recently. So, I am very happy with the outcome and decided that I will be sticking myself playing in Champion for quite a while now, at least until I finish upgrading all my soul-bound cards to max level.

However, Another thing that may have increased my SPS earning as tanked battle rewards is the fact that I am re-investing every little fraction of SPS back into the in-game wallet that I earn from both playing all the different game formats like ranked, tournaments and brawls and also restaking all my staked SPS rewards back on daily basis. This has helped me greatly to increase my SPS Stack to 120k total staked as of today. Yes, I am very glad to announce that just now, I have touched staking a total of 120k SPS in my account, which is valued at almost 1800 now. I am feeling very happy right now as I moved one step closer to my main goal of having a total of 200k staked SPS in my account and hope to reach there soon.

Now, taking about SPS, sadly the price of this token has been falling down slowly but gradually over time as the bear season continues. Seriously this has been the longest bear period un the history of crypto I think as we have crossed spending 500 days since the last bull run. Many people have already sold their assets and coins but there are also strong minds like me who are holding onto their gems with diamond hands and when the trends take a turn, its an obvious that we will be the highest gainers out of this bear season and will be booking great profits. On the other hand, the current price of SPS is at its all time low right now as it is selling for slightly less than 0.015$ per unit. So, if anyone wants to invest their stake, the current time will probably be a great time right now.
