What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are doing amazingly well in your life and also enjoying this game in meantime, obviously if you are getting any free time from the ongoing festive event. For those who play this game on a regular basis already know how much the battlefield Has been captured by the newest edition Rebellion cards. Since the cards got released recently in the battlefield and can be used in ranked arena, tournaments and brawl all the different places in this game, facing these cards against us whenever we are trying to play a match has become almost inevitable. If you are one of the pioneers who are holding and battling with multiple max Rebellion cards in Champion league, you are a rare gem my friend. However, as the modern format of this game now only supports Chaos edition and these Rebellion edition cards, as a modern modern player I must own or rent at least some of those Rebellion cards while playing to be competitive and not to lose So much. As for this current ranked season, it is ending in next 3 days, so I hope all of you are right now playing with your best effort to collect as many reward chests as possible before the timer hits zero.

As for the rebellion cards, I certainly do know their need in the current gameplay but due to the demand, new rules and mechanisms, Rebellion packs and cards are not coming down even a little bit with their prices and where chaos packs are selling for around 4$ in hive-engine market, rebellion cards are also selling for pretty high price ranged and impossible for me to even upgrade 1 card to max level. But anyways, I have started my journey of acquiring Rebellion cards one by one at low levels and levelling them up over time and reach max levels. In today’s post, I will be talking about one of my recent purchases in rebel edition and also all the details of the card below. So, without further ado, let’s start..

Anasth Soothsayer

The rebellion card that I would like to talk about in today’s post is the ANASTH SOOTHSAYER and it is defensive healer card that is gaining popularity for its heal + cleanse ability combo. This monster belongs to the water element and it is a rare type card that needs a total of 115 BCX cards to become max level. Anasth costs 6 mana to be used in battles and it’s attack type is magic. So we can use it easily from medium to high mana limit matches as a healer and decent attacker. Now let us take a deeper look into it’s level wise stats and abilities at below.

Bronze

At level 2, this monster possesses 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 5 health and it also gets its first ability Cleanse from level 1 and another ability Tank Heal at level 2. So even at Bronze level, this. Monster is providing us with both Healing snd cleansing which can be very useful if rightfully being used.

Silver

At level 4, this monster increases it overall stats and holds 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 6 health and also gets a new ability called Lookout. This new ability just got launched with the rebellion edition cards and with this ability, adjacent monsters receive 1 less damage from the attackers with sneak, snipe and opportunity. Additionally, all units take half damage from ambushers as long as a lookout monster is on your team. So now, we can make an even more defensive deck with this monster using its lookout ability.

Gold

When you upgrade this monster to level 6, it possesses 1 magic attack at 4 speed with 7 health along with a new ability - Dispel that it gets from level 6 onwards. When a monster with Dispel ability hits an enemy, it clears all positive status on that enemy. So now not only we can make a defensive healing lineup with this monster, but this can now even weaken the enemy monsters by erasing all positive effects from them. So definitely I am taking my bet on a very good monster here.

Diamond / Champion

When this monster gets upgraded to the max level 8, it gets still 1 magic attack at 4 speed but with a large 9 health and it also gets another ability - Evade at level 8. With the Evade ability, it now has a 25% higher chance to evade a melee or ranged attack. So now on the top of everything, thus monster now gets s but more defensive itself by having the evading ability which it will use to dodge enemy melee and ranged attacks.

My Thoughts

So, as you can clearly see from the detailed talk at level wise regarding Anasth, it gets healing + cleanse ability from bronze level, and gets a total of 5 abilities at its max level. So though this monster only holds 1 magic attack even at its max level, its other stats and ability combo surely makes it up wells for this monster and whenever making a healing lineup using water Element cards, this monsters will surely make its place in your lineup.

Purchasing a level 5 Anasth

As for my purchase, I was looking for good deals on Water element rebel monster cards and just recently found this deal, where a 39 BCX Anasth card was being listed for 49.81$ total and 1.28$ per BCX. I saw that I would need only 1 more BCX of this card more to upgrade it to level 5. So without thinking much, I made the purchase and bought the high level and one more BCX card and then I merged them together to make a level 5 card.

As usual I used the monstermarket.io website which is a 3rd party splinterlands card marketplace that gives 3% instant cash-back whenever anyone use their site to purchase cards. I made this purchase via credits and it costed me 51144 total credits to buy both of those cards in a single TRX. As for my cashback reward, I received 1271.843 DEC almost instantly in m Hive-Engine account for making the purchase using their website.

However, after I purchased and upgraded them to a level 5 card, I listed the card immediately for rent right after, so that it can earn me a little extra dec to help me buy more cards. Now, let me save some money again and I will be making another Rebel shopping and share with you all.
