Splinterlands | ANGELIC MANDARIN will save you from magic attacks

What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!

I hope all of you are doing well in your life and also enjoying playing this amazing card-based strategy game in your daily lives. If you are a dedicated player then I hope you already know that the current ranked season has almost come to its end and only around 1 day left for this ongoing season to get reset. So before that, let’s put on your warrior suit and jump on the battlefield to reach your goal for this season. Now if you ask me, the luck finally shined in me because after playing for a while yesterday, I finally reclaimed my worthy soot in the champion league and I am very happy that I have reached my goal for this season. Currently, I am playing at Champion III tier with a current trophy rating of 3,720 and right now, I am playing while being very cautious so that I don't end up losing a match cause it can pull me back into Diamond Tier again. Now looking at my Glint collection, so far I have made only around 102k Glint points this season and the amount got reduced mainly cause I didn't rent any SPS and cards for this season and playing only with my owned amount and cards. But still, I managed to take it above 100k so I am cool with that and maybe in next season, I may again try to rent SPS and cards to boost both my performance and my earnings.

If any of you are staking your Rebellion cards and packs and collecting chances to get cards from the upcoming Rebellion conflict airdrop, then hold your positions well cause the airdrop is about to get unlocked and distributed only after around 7 days and for me, so far I have collected a total of 693 chances. For this upcoming card named Cryptic, we will get one guaranteed copy of the card for every 325 chances we gathered during this airdrop, so till now I have got enough chances to get 2 guaranteed copies of the Cryptic and maybe one more when the time resets. I am eagerly waiting to see if this summoner card is also worthy like Lorkus or not, what about you?

Now moving on, let us now come toward the main topic of this post as today, I will be showcasing another great Chaos card with you all which I often use to heal my backline monsters and also to weaken enemy magic attackers. As you have already guessed from the thumbnail above, today we will be talking about Angelic Mandarin. So, without further ado, let us begin.

ANGELIC MANDARIN

Angelic Mandarin is a Chaos Legion edition core card that was launched before the Rebellion edition and this card is a range attack type monster. Angelic belongs to the Water element and it costs only 3 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup when playing small to medium mana limit matches and also can use it easily when playing Little League ruleset matches. It is a Rare rarity type card and needs a total of 115 BCX of cards to be upgraded to max level. Let us now take a deeper look into this card and find out about its stays and abilities league-wise.

BRONZE

At level 2, this card possesses 1 ranged attack at 2 speed with 5 health and no abilities in its initial phases. However, with the big health stat, the monster can be used as a defensive card and can consume multiple attacks before going down.

SILVER

When upgraded to level 4, this monster gets 1 ranged attack at 3 speed with 6 health and at this level, it also bets its first ability called Triage. With the help of this ability, it can now heal any wounded friendly monsters that are not placed in the first position when healing.

GOLD

At level 6, this monster’s stats gets increased further and it gets 2 ranged attack at 4 speed with 6 health along with the Triage ability which I talked about above. With more range attack power and a special healing ability, this monster becomes super important in battles.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

When you finally upgrade this monster to its max level of 10, it then gets 2 ranged attack powers with 4 speed with 7 health and also gets a new ability called Silence. With this ability, now this monster can reduce every enemy magic monster’s power by 1 (monsters with 1 magic attack will get unaffected). So now whenever you predict to be faced against multiple magic attackers, just think of Angelic.

BATTLE STAT

This time I was just trying to win all the matches and after playing a couple of them, I found out a small 19 mana limit match where only 4 elements were allowed to choose - Fire, Water, Death and Dragon. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match - Fury, Odd ones out and Armour reduction. In this match, I decided to choose the water summoner Kelya Frendul because of the +1 armour and +1 speed ability it provides to every friendly monster. For my lineup, I chose the Cruel at the front followed by Meerdali Guardian, Uraeus, Pelacor Bandit and Angelic at the end place of my lineup.

As both of the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had chosen the Lux Vega summoner with water cards and at his front, he chose the same Cruel followed by Chaos Agent, Daarg Deadblast and Meerdali at his end place. While I was focusing on attacking his tail with my 2 sneak monsters, my opponent was trying to attack only my front position with magic attacks, now let’s see how it goes.

MATCH BEGINS

As the battle began, as expected my Mandarin reduced all of those 3 enemy magic attackers' power by 1 which gave me an upper hand at the beginning of this match. While the enemy cards started attacking my Cruel, I also started attacking his Mandarin at the back. My Meerdali was also healing my cruel and repairing his armours every round which helped it a lot to stay alive for some time against those 3 magic attacks. By the time the opponent killed down my Cruel, I was also successful in killing down his Meerdali by the end of the second Round.

By the start of the third round. There were no armours on any of the monsters and now that my sneak attackers have certainly more speed, they attacked together and almost killed down the Daarg after my Meerdail got dead, the sneak duo seemed to get even more furious and killed down the rest of them even more quickly. And thus, I won another great match and earned some juicy SPS and glints. Thanks to my Mandarin for reducing all the magic attacks or I would have never won this match.
