Hello everyone!

I'm travel-sick these days, so I keep spending my free time looking at old pictures of trips I did a few years ago, before the whole quarantine ordeal and before my income reduced due the depreciation of my country currency :/

This is the Wawel Royal Castle, in Kraków (Poland). As my wife said when we visited it: "It's the most castle-looking castle we ever visited!". And, indeed, it is.

In our trip across Eastern Europe, we visited about 10 castles in several countries (Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Poland), and none of them ACTUALLY looked like a castle from cartoons, you know? Like this one from the emoji: 🏰.

But the Wawel Castle looked EXACTLY like them. It's the stereotypical castle that I've always dreamed visiting when I was a kid: towers to the side, huge gardens, a cathedral by its side... just like a Disney movie!!

Nossa, que lugar incrível! Eu adoro conhecer castelos antigos e o Wawel Royal Castle em Cracóvia, Polônia, parece ser uma verdadeira obra-prima da arquitetura. A riqueza de detalhes e a grandiosidade do castelo são impressionantes, e fico imaginando como era a vida lá dentro na época em que ele foi construído. Definitivamente, um lugar que eu adoraria visitar um dia!
