Vajdahunyad Castle (Budapest - Hungary)

Hello everyone!

I haven't travelled abroad since the COVID crisis, so I've been spending more and more time looking at pictures of old trips just for old time's sake.

This is the Vajdahunyad Castle, in Budapest (Hungary). It is located in the Városliget Park, the main park in Budapest in which all tourists end up visiting because it also hosts the Széchenyi Thermal Baths, the most visited touristic spot in the city.

But, because of the Széchenyi Baths, the Vajdahunyad Castle ends up overlooked by the majority of the tourists. People usually spend just one afternoon in the park, so they usually decide to just stay at the Baths.

We wanted to visit the whole Park, including the Vajdahunyad Castle, so we had to spent a whole day in the Városliget Park. It was well worth the time, as both the park and the castle are beautiful and interesting to visit. There are also some restaurants around the park, so we were also able to eat a nice lunch at the fancy Robinson Restaurant!
