dCrops is my favorite farming game, I started playing more than two years ago (May 2021) and and today I am here to publish my usual end-of-season report in which I share not only my results but also my considerations and strategies.

On dCrops the autumn season is underway, which started less than a day ago and will end in just over 14 days.

Also running on dCrops is the Halloween event that started 20 days ago and will end in just over 10 days: Halloween Trick or Treat adventure mode.

My Summer Report and my early Autumn operativeness

In the table below you can see the results I have obtained in the spring season.

The summer has not been a very positive season for my virtual farm on dCrops because today I record 3 out of 4 negative results although not all of them are really negative results because the Halloween event has costs in CROP and in SHARES and that is why today I record a large decrease for these two assets.
The only real negative result I record today is the value of my NFTs collection which registers a decrease of -9.43% of the value it had at the beginning of the previous season.
Instead, my CROP Power increases thanks to the three Beta packs I obtained from my participation in the Halloween event.

Regarding summer quests I received 14 chests as rewards and in the next image you can see what I found inside the chests.

I got a good seasonal reward considering that the NFTs I found inside the chests have an estimated total market value = 7.99 SWAP.HIVE = $2.86

In the following image you can see the new seasonal quests that I have received and need to complete during the fall season.

I used the Reroll feature 4 times and spent 40 CROP.
I sold the crops indicated in the Sell type quests and planted my NFTs in my land plots.

I have already completed 4 out of 7 quests and to complete them all I have to wait for my Pumpkin seeds to produce crops.

In the following image you can see all the seeds I planted today.

From the game operations I performed today, I obtained the Halloween Candies points needed to purchase 2 Coffins from the Event Shop.

Inside the Coffins I found 3 CROP :(

The theoretical probability of finding 1 to 50 CROP tokens within the Coffins is 50%.

Actually:

• the probability of finding CROP tokens in coffins is close to 80% because in the event collection there is only 1 NFTs
• the probability of finding 50 CROPs is almost zero because out of more than 20 Coffins I opened I found 4 Golden Tickets and 56 CROPs in total = the average was 3.5 CROPs per coffin containing CROPs.

I now share the financial analysis of my participation in the Trick or Treat mode of the current Halloween event.

Financial Evaluation of my first 23 adventures on Trick or Treat Adventure Mode

So far:

• I have played 23 adventures
• I have participated in 12 daily draws.

Out of 23 adventures played:

• I completed 15 adventures
• I failed 8 adventures
• I have spent 5750 CROP
• I spent 6339 SHARES.

To calculate the total cost I incurred to participate in 15 adventures, I considered the market value (Lowest Ask) of 5750 CROP and considered the estimated value of 6339 SHARES shown in the Leaderboard section of dCrops the last days of the spring season (two seasons ago): 0.290 CROP per SHARES.

SHARES points are an important element in the game of dCrops but unfortunately it is not easy to assign an estimated value to 1 SHARE point and an easier to know information related to this element seems to interest only me...

I hope that in the future the estimated value of 1 point share will be an easier information to have ;)

Today November 17, 2023:

• 1 HIVE = $0.358
• 1 CROP = 0.005258 SWAP.HIVE = $0.001882

In the table below you can see the estimated total cost I incurred to participate in 23 game adventures = 39.89 HIVE = $14.28

I will now show you the total value of the rewards I got by playing 23 adventures.
With 15 completed adventures out of 23 I earned 5121 Candies.
I spent 5000 Candies to purchase 20 Coffins from the Event Shop.
In the 20 Coffins I found a total of 56 CROP + 4 Golden Tickets which I used to purchase 1 Beta pack.
In my adventures I also received 10 CROP + 1 Golden Ticket in addition to the Candies.
By participating in the Event Daily Raffles I won 2 BETA packs.

The estimated total value of the rewards I got by playing 15 adventures and participating in the Halloween Event Daily Raffles was 49.67 HIVE = $17.78.

After 15 adventures played I had decided to stop playing in the Trick or Treat mode but after confronting @seeyouinlumb who is a great player and promoter of dCrops I decided to continue playing.
After 23 adventures played I got positive estimated financial results:

• PROFIT: +9.77 HIVE = +3.49$
• ROI: +24.48%

I am happy that my results have become positive but at the same time I continue to be convinced that the two game modes of the event are not balanced well and I will show you why.

By playing in the paid Trick or Treat mode I got an estimated profit of +9.77 HIVE.

If I decided to play only the non-paid mode I would have:

• sold my crops in exchange for SHARES and would have gotten an average of 55% Shares in Halloween Candies = 55% of 6339 SHARES = 3486.45 candies = 13 coffins = 2 Golden Tickets = 2/4 value of 1 Beta Pack = 3.2 HIVE

If I sold my crops in Shares points I would also get a prize in CROP tokens from the Leaderboard.

This is why in my opinion there is not much difference in value between participating in both event game modes (free + trick or treat) and participating only in the free mode.
In my opinion, this difference should have been greater because those who play in the paid mode (Trick or Treat) risk CROP and SHARES and should have a higher probability of making a profit compared to the current conditions.

In my opinion adjustments to be made to the Trick or Treat mode were as follows:

• Adjustment 1: Reduce the maximum number of SHARES required by trickners.
• Adjustment 2: increase the minimum and maximum amount of CROP tokens that can be found in Coffins.

Obviously these are my personal considerations and evaluations and as such they are completely debatable and I defer my final considerations and evaluations to the end of the event and of course I hope to change my mind because that would mean that by playing the Trick or Treat mode I will have gotten some very good rewards and better results than I calculated today.

Il mio resoconto estivo e la mia operatività di inizio autunno + La valutazione finanziaria della mia avventura di gioco nella modalità Dolcetto o scherzetto dopo 23 avventure giocate

dCrops è il mio gioco di farming preferito, ho iniziato a giocare più di due anni fa (maggio 2021) e oggi sono qui a pubblicare il mio usuale report di fine stagione in cui condivido oltre ai miei risultati anche le mie considerazioni e le mie strategie.

Su dCrops è in corso la stagione autunnale che è iniziata da meno di un giorno e che terminerà tra poco più di 14 giorni.

Su dCrops è in corso anche l'evento di Halloween che è iniziato 20 giorni fa e terminerà tra poco più di 10 giorni: Halloween Trick or Treat adventure mode.

My Summer Report and my early Autumn operativeness

Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere i risultati che ho ottenuto nella stagione primaverile.

L'estate non è stata una stagione molto positiva per la mia fattoria virtuale su dCrops perchè oggi registro 3 risultati negativi su 4 anche se non tutti sono in realtà risultati negativi perchè l'evento di Halloween ha dei costi in CROP e in SHARES e per questo motivo oggi registro un forte decremento per questi due assets.
L'unico e vero risultato negativo che registro oggi è il valore della mia collezione di NFTs che registra un decremento del -9.43% del valore che aveva all'inizio della stagione precedente.
Aumenta invece il mio CROP Power grazie ai tre pacchi Beta che ottenuto dalla mia partecipazione all'evento di Halloween.

Per quanto riguarda le quests estive ho ricevuto 14 forzieri come ricompensa e nella prossima immagine puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri.

Ho ottenuto una buona ricompensa stagionale considerando che gli NFTs che ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri hanno un valore stimato di mercato totale = 7.99 SWAP.HIVE = 2.86$

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le nuove quests stagionali che ho ricevuto e che devo completare durante la stagione autunnale.

Ho usato la funzionalità Reroll 4 volte e ho speso 40 CROP.
Ho venduto i crops indicati nelle quests di tipo Sell e ho piantato i miei NFTs nei miei land plots.

Ho già completato 4 quests su 7 e per completarle tutte devo aspettare che i miei semi Pumpkin producano i crops.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi.

Dalle operazioni di gioco che ho effettuato oggi ho ottenuto i punti Halloween Candies necessari per acquistare 2 Coffins dall'Event Shop.

All'interno dei Coffins ho trovato 3 CROP :(

La probabilità teorica di trovare da 1 a 50 token CROP all'interno dei Coffins è del 50%.

In realtà:

• la probabilità di trovare i token CROP nei coffins è vicina all'80% perchè nell'event collection c'è 1 solo NFTs
• la probabilità di trovare 50 CROP è quasi nulla perchè su più di 20 Coffins che ho aperto ho trovato 4 Golden Tickets e 56 CROP in totale = la media è stata di 3.5 CROP per coffin contenente CROP.

Adesso condivido l'analisi finanziaria della mia partecipazione alla modalità Trick or Treat dell'evento di Halloween in corso.

Financial Evaluation of my first 23 adventures on Trick or Treat Adventure Mode

Fino ad ora:

• ho giocato 23 avventure
• ho partecipato a 12 estrazioni giornaliere.

Su 23 avventure giocate:

• ho completato 15 avventure
• ho fallito 8 avventure
• ho speso 5750 CROP
• ho speso 6339 SHARES

Per calcolare il costo totale che ho sostenuto per partecipare a 15 avventure ho considerato il valore di mercato (Lowest Ask) di 5750 CROP e ho considerato il valore stimato di 6339 SHARES indicato nella sezione Leaderboard di dCrops gli ultimi giorni della stagione primaverile (due stagioni fa): 0.290 CROP per SHARES.

I punti SHARES sono un elemento importante nel gioco di dCrops ma purtroppo non è facile assegnare un valore stimato ad 1 punto SHARE e un informazione più facile da conoscere relativa a questo elemento sembra interessare solo me...

Spero che in futuro il valore stimato di 1 punto share sarà un'informazione più facile da avere ;)

Oggi 17 novembre 2023:

• 1 HIVE = 0.358$
• 1 CROP = 0.005258 SWAP.HIVE = 0.001882$

Il valore totale stimato delle ricompense che ho ottenuto giocando 15 avventure e partecipando alle raffles giornaliere dell'evento di Halloween è stato di 49.67 HIVE = 17.78$.

Dopo 15 avventure giocate avevo deciso di non giocare più nella modalità Trick or Treat ma dopo essermi confrontato con @seeyouinlumb che è un grande giocatore e promotore di dCrops ho deciso di continuare a giocare.
Dopo 23 avventure giocate ho ottenuto dei risultati finanziari stimati positivi:

• PROFIT: +9.77 HIVE = +3.49$
• ROI: +24.48%

Sono contento che i miei risultati sono diventati positivi ma allo stesso tempo continuo ad essere convinto che le due modalità di gioco dell'evento non sono bilanciate bene e ti mostro il perchè.

Giocando nella modalità a pagamento Trick or Treat ho ottenuto un profitto stimato di +9.77 HIVE.

Se decidevo di giocare solo alla modalità non a pagamento avrei:

• venduto i miei crops in cambio di SHARES e avrei ottenuto una media del 55% di Shares in Halloween Candies = 55% di 6339 SHARES = 3486.45 candies = 13 coffin = 2 Golden Ticket = 2/4 value of 1 Beta Pack = 3.2 HIVE

Se vendevo i miei crops in punti Shares avrei anche ottenuto un premio in CROP tokens dalla Leaderboard.

Per questo motivo secondo me non c'è molta differenza di valore tra il partecipare a entrambe le modalità di gioco dell'evento (gratuita + trick or treat) e il partecipare solo alla modalità gratuita.
Secondo me questa differenza sarebbe dovuta essere maggiore perchè chi gioca nella modalità a pagamento (Trick or Treat) rischia CROP e SHARES e dovrebbe avere una probabilità di avere un profitto maggiore rispetto alle condizioni attuali.

Secondo me gli aggiustamenti da apportare alla modalità Trick or Treat erano i seguenti:

• Modifica 1: ridurre il numero massimo di SHARES richiesti dai trickners
• Modifica 2: aumentare il quantitativo minimo e massimo dei token CROP trovabili nei Coffins

Ovviamente queste sono mie considerazioni e valutazioni personali e in quanto tali sono assolutamente opinabili e rimando alla fine dell'evento le mie considerazioni e valutazioni finali e ovviamente spero di cambiare idea perchè questo vorrebbe dire che giocando alla modalità Trick or Treat avrò ottenuto delle ottime ricompense e dei risultati migliori di quelli che ho calcolato oggi.
