One of the most long-awaited implementations by all Splinterlands players, myself included, is the release of phase 1.5 of lands that will start resource (grain) production and add a new level to the game dynamics present on Splinterlands.

The wait for the release of lands phase 1.5 really seems to be almost over because yesterday, September 15, Splinterlands announced the release of lands version 1.5 for
Maverick players who will test all features so as to eliminate all possible bugs that escaped the internal testing phase.

In my previous two posts, I shared some information and some of my thoughts on the start of stage 1.5 lands with a particular focus on Worker Cards, Production Points and the lands land type.
I also showed how to quickly calculate the hourly grain gain of a Land based on the worker cards used in the 5 available slots and showed an example of optimizing Production Points.

When phase 1.5 of lands is released for all players the DEC tokens and cards will acquire a new use case because they will both be essential to make a land plot productive.
Each land plot in order to produce resources will need from 1 to 5 cards to be staked (= max 5 worker cards) and each worker card will need a variable amount of DEC tokens (max 10K DEC per max level card) to produce a certain amount of grain per hour.

Without cards and DEC a land plot will not produce resources!

What could be the effect of the start of phase 1.5 on cards and DECs?

Most likely DEC tokens will increase their market value (this is my personal prediction and is not financial advice).

Most likely cards will also increase their market value but this effect will mostly involve cards that have a high Production Points (PP) attribute (this is my personal prediction and is not financial advice).

In my previous post, I showed and selected the 15 cards in my collection that I will most likely use in the 15 slots of my 4 land plots and also calculated the total grain production per hour that my cards will guarantee when phase 1.5 starts.

But before the start of the production phase I could still improve my earning potential and for this reason today I put many cards from my collection up for sale, choosing from cards that:

• I do not use in battle
• have a good market value and a low average PP attribute.

My End Of Season Considerations and My Next Season Strategy

Yesterday, September 15, Splinterlands season number 118 ended.

In the previous two seasons (116 and 117) I had been able to play from the beginning to the end of the season in Diamond leagues and had finished the seasons in Diamond League I.

In season 118, on the other hand, I played most of the time in the Gold I league and only the last two days arrived in the Diamond leagues.

I finished season 118 in Diamond League II with a rating score = 3119 points.

I finished the season at rank 307 in the Diamond leaderboard while in season 117 I had finished at rank 248.

Playing most of the season in the Gold I league allowed me to increase my win rate which improved from season 117 in which I always played in the Diamond leagues.

Season 118 was a bad season in terms of my season playing goal: to finish the season at least in Diamond League I.

But at the same time, season 118 was a very positive season because it allowed me to make some interesting evaluations based on the rewards I got that in the case of the total number of SPS tokens obtained from battle victories improved.

In addition, playing almost all the time in the Gold I league did not produce negative results in the total value of seasonal rewards but rather, produced a slightly more positive result.

One of my main current goals on Splinterlands is to accumulate an amount of 100K SPS staked.
To reach my accumulation goal, I am just under 22K SPS staked.

The average gain in SPS tokens for a battle win is higher in Diamond leagues than in Gold leagues but when I consider the gain per win in Gold League I where I played most of the season and the gain per win in Diamond League II with my rating in the season finale (3119 rating points) the comparison is in favor of Gold League I where I generally get a win rate above 50%.

Today I compared the gain in SPS tokens I got in my last 5 battles won in season 118 while playing in Diamond II league with the gain in SPS tokens I got in my first 5 battles won in season 119 currently in progress where I started from Gold I league.

If I play in the Gold I league I will probably get a higher win rate and also a higher reward in SPS tokens than in the Diamond III and II leagues.
In addition, my better win rate in Gold leagues should earn me more chests and compensate for the lower value content that Gold chests have compared to Diamond chests.

For this reason and for these personal evaluations in season 119 currently underway I will change my strategy and reaching the Diamond I league will no longer be my main goal

My new season strategy will be as follows:

• I will play in Gold leagues and not advance in Diamond leagues.
• If at the end of the season I get into the rewarded positions of the leaderboard I will stay in the Gold I league.
• If at the end of the season I fail to enter the awarded positions of the Gold leaderboard I will advance to the Diamond leagues.

Different to the previous season, I am satisfied with the contents I found inside the chests especially because I found two soulbound legendary cards:

• Usut (2 BCX)
• Ferexian Hero (2 BCX)

I already had three copies of Ferexian Hero in my collection, and with the two copies I found in season 118, I am still unable to upgrade to level 3.

I hope to find more copies of Ferexian Hero in the future because it is from level 3 on that this card becomes especially useful in battle because it acquires the Reflection Shield ability which is an especially useful ability when the battle rule is Explosive Weaponery.

I didn't have Usut in my collection and I'm glad I found 2 BCX because it's a card I really like especially from level 3 onwards.

In fact, Usut at level 3 acquires the Heal ability that makes this card very difficult to eliminate considering its armor points and life points

I am also happy to have made progress toward upgrading my Soulbound cards which all record progress except for the Rare Gold and Legendary Gold cards whose progress remains the same as I recorded in the previous season:

• Common Regular: 34% -> 37%
• Common Gold: 10% -> 12%
• Rare Regular: 28% -> 31%
• Rare Gold: 14%
• Epic Regular: 20% -> 21%
• Epic Gold: 0% -> 3%
• Legendary Regular: 5% -> 8%
• Legendary Gold: 6%

With the soulbound cards I found in the chests during season 118, I was able to increase the level of:

• ETERNAN BRUNE: level 4 -> level 5

• FIRECALLER: level 5 -> level 6

• IIDRI FYRE Gold: level 2 -> level 3
  

• WILY COYOTIAN: level 6 -> level 7

• MADCAP MAGUS: level 4 -> level 5

• GOBSON BOMBER: level 6 -> level 7

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, and await with much excitement the start of phase 1 of lands and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

La Fase 1.5 delle Lands è vicina! + La Mia Nuova Strategia Stagionale

Una delle implementazioni più attese da tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands, me compreso, è il rilascio della fase 1.5 delle lands che darà il via alla produzione di risorse (grano) e aggiungerà un nuovo livello alle dinamiche di gioco presenti su Splinterlands.

Nei miei due precedenti post ho condiviso alcune informazioni e alcune mie considerazioni sull'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands con un particolare focus sulle Worker Cards, sui Production Points e sulla tipologia dei terreni delle lands.
Ho anche mostrato come calcolare velocemente il guadagno orario di grano di una Land in base alle worker cards utilizzate nei 5 slot disponibili e ho mostrato un esempio di ottimizazzione dei Production Points.

L'attesa per il rilascio della fase 1.5 delle lands sembra davvero essere giunta quasi al termine perchè ieri 15 settembre Splinterlands ha annunciato il rilascio della versione 1.5 delle land per
i giocatori Maverick che testeranno tutte le funzionalità in modo da eliminare tutti i possibili bugs che sono sfuggiti alla fase di test interna.

Se come me hai dei land plots ti consiglio di leggerti con attenzione la seguente guida che spiega nel dettaglio tutti i meccanismi che entreranno in gioco quando la fase 1.5 delle lands inizierà: Land Phase 1.5: User Guide

Quando la fase 1.5 delle lands sarà rilasciata per tutti i giocatori i token DEC e le carte acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso perchè saranno entrambi indispensabili per rendere produttivo un land plot.
Ogni land plot per poter produrre le risorse avrà bisogno di 5 carte da mettere in staking (= 5 worker cards) e ogni worker card avrà bisogno di un quantitativo di token DEC variabile (max 10K DEC per max level card) per produrre un certo quantitativo di grano per ora.

Senza carte e senza DEC un land plot non produrrà risorse!

Quale potrebbe essere l'effetto dell'inizio della fase 1.5 sulle carte e sui DEC?

Con molta probabilità i token DEC aumenteranno il loro valore di mercato (è la mia personale previsione e non è un consiglio finanziario).

Con molta probabilità anche le carte aumenteranno il loro valore di mercato ma questo effetto coinvolgerà soprattutto le carte che hanno un attributo Production Points (PP) alto (è la mia personale previsione e non è un consiglio finanziario).

Nel mio precedente post ho mostrato e selezionato le 15 carte della mia collezione che con molta probabilità utilizzerò nei 15 slot dei miei 4 land plots e ho anche calcolato la produzione totale di grano per ora che le mie carte mi garantiranno quando la fase 1.5 inizierà.

Ma prima dell'inizio della fase di produzione potrei migliorare ancora il mio potenziale guadagno per ora e per questo motivo oggi ho messo in vendita molte carte della mia collezione scegliendo tra le carte che:

• non utilizzo in battaglia
• hanno un buon valore di mercato e un attributo PP medio basso.

Considerazioni di Fine Stagione e La mia Nuova Strategia Stagionale

Ieri 15 settembre è terminata la stagione di Splinterlands numero 118.

Nelle due precedenti stagioni (116 e 117) ero riuscito a giocare dall'inizio alla fine della stagione nelle leghe Diamond e avevo terminato le stagioni in lega Diamond I.

Nell stagione 118 invece ho giocato quasi sempre nella lega Gold I e solo gli ultimi due giorni sono arrivato nelle leghe Diamond.

Ho terminato la stagione 118 in Lega Diamond II con un punteggio di rating = 3119 punti.

Ho concluso la stagione al rank 307 della classifica Diamond mentre nella stagione 117 ero terminato al rank 248.

Giocare la maggior parte della stagione in lega Gold I mi ha permesso di aumentare il mio win rate che è migliorato rispetto alla stagione 117 nella quale ho giocato sempre nelle leghe Diamond.

La stagione 118 è stata una stagione negativa per quanto riguarda il mio obiettivo di gioco stagionale: terminare la stagione almeno in lega Diamond I.

Ma allo stesso tempo la stagione 118 è stata una stagione molto positiva perchè mi ha permesso di fare alcune interessanti valutazioni in base alle ricompense che ho ottenuto che nel caso del numero totale dei token SPS ottenuti dalle vittorie in battaglia è migliorato.

Inoltre giocare quasi sempre nella lega Gold I non ha prodotto risultati negativi nel valore totale delle ricompense stagionali ma anzi, ha prodotto un risultato leggermente più positivo.

Uno dei miei obiettivi principali attuali su Splinterlands è accumulare un quantitativo di 100K SPS staked.
Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo di accumulo mi mancano poco meno di 22K SPS staked.

Il guadagno medio in token SPS per una vittoria in battaglia è maggiore nelle leghe Diamond rispetto alle leghe Gold ma se considero il guadagno per vittoria nella lega Gold I dove ho giocato la maggior parte della stagione e il guadagno per vittoria nella lega Diamond II con il mio rating nel finale di stagione (3119 punti di rating) il confronto è in favore della lega Gold I dove io generalmente ottengo un win rate superiore al 50%.

Oggi ho confrontato il guadagno in token SPS che ho ottenuto nelle mie ultime 5 battaglie vinte nella stagione 118 mentre giocavo in lega Diamond II con il guadagno in token SPS che ho ottenuto nelle mie prime 5 battaglie vinte nella stagione 119 attualmente in corso in cui sono partito dalla lega Gold I.

Per fare questo confronto ho utlizzato la sezione Battle Analysis di SplinterTracker: https://splintertracker.web.app/#battles

Se gioco nella lega Gold I ottengo un maggiore win rate e ottengo una ricompensa maggiore in token SPS rispetto alle leghe Diamond III e II.
Inoltre il mio migliore win rate nelle leghe Gold dovrebbe farmi guadagnare un numero maggiore di forzieri e compensare il contenuto di minor valore che hanno i forzieri Gold rispetto ai forzieri Diamong.

Per questo motivo nella stagione 119 attualmente in corso cambierò la mia strategia e raggiungere la lega Diamond I non sarà più il mio obiettivo principale ma al massimo sarà un obiettivo secondario rispetto al guadagno in token SPS.

La mia nuova strategia stagionale sarà la seguente:
Giochero nelle leghe Gold e non avanzerò nelle leghe Diamond.
Se alla fine della stagione entrerò nelle posizioni premiate della leaderboard rimarrò nella lega Gold I.
Se alla fine della stagione non riuscirò ad entrare nelle posizioni premiate della leaderboard Gold avanzerò nelle leghe Diamond.

La fine della stagione in corso sarà il test per verificare se la mia strategia è buona o no!

A differenza della precedente stagione sono soddisfatto del contenuto che ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri soprattutto perchè ho trovato due carte leggendarie soulbound:

• Usut (2 BCX)
• Ferexian Hero (2 BCX)

Nella mia collezione avevo già tre copie di Ferexian Hero e con le due copie che ho trovato nella stagione 118 non sono ancora in grado di fare l'upgrade al livello 3.

Spero di trovare in futuro altre copie di Ferexian Hero perchè è dal livello 3 in poi che questa carta diventa particolarmente utile in battaglia perchè acquisisce l'abilità Reflection Shield che è un'abilità particolarmente utile quando la regola di battaglia è Explosive Weaponery.

Non avevo nella mia collezione Usut e sono contento di aver trovato 2 BCX perchè è una carta che mi piace molto soprattutto dal livello 3 in poi.

Infatti Usut di livello 3 acquisisce l'abilità Heal che rende questa carta molto difficile da eliminare considerando i suoi punti armatura e i suoi punti vita

Sono anche contento di aver fatto dei passi in avanti verso l'upgrade delle mie carte Soulbound che registrano tutte dei progressi tranne le carte Rare Gold e Legendary Gold il cui progresso rimane uguale a quello che ho registrato nella stagione precedente:

• Common Regular: 34% -> 37%
