Today is April 1 of the year 2024 and like every first day of the month:

• I like to publish a post in which I check and share my progress on Hive
• I like to share a little focus on the value of the HIVE token
• I like to participate in the Hive Power Up Day initiative which is a nice recurring initiative of every first day of every month.
• I like to set and share my resolutions for the month just started.

Today is also the first day after Easter and it is a holiday in Italy.
Between yesterday and today I spent two very nice, happy and relaxing days because I did not work and I was able to spend so much time with my family and especially with my daughter Chiara who is the greatest joy that life has given me.

The only negative note is that I ate really a lot but it was really impossible to resist my mother-in-law's cooking yesterday and my mom's cooking today because they are both great home cooks! :)

Today is also the fourth Hive Power Up Day of the year 2024 which is a nice initiative that I like to participate in.

Out of curiosity I went to see how long I've been participating in Hive Power Up Days and it's been since HPUD in August 2022 that I haven't skipped an HPUD and my intention is to continue to accumulate participation and even badges on https://hivebuzz.me/.

For today's HPUD I did a Hive Powew Up = 111.45 HIVE -> +111.45 HP.

With this Hive Power Up I achieved an amount of 54480.72 HP.

Hive is my favorite blockchain project and I have set two goals related to Hive Power (HP):

• an intermediate goal: to achieve Orca status.
• an annual goal: to reach 75K HP before the end of the year 2024

It will be relatively easy to reach Orca status because I am very close to this goal.

In fact on Hive at certain amounts of Hive Power (HP) you acquire a status.

Looking at the ranking on https://hivebuzz.me/ranking the first Orca with the least HP has 57777 HP and so to become an Orca I still need to accumulate 3296.27 HP.

In order to monitor my progress toward Orca status and toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I created a table in which:

• I mark at each beginning of the month my monthly increases in Hive Power
• I calculate an intermediate monthly goal that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.

From March 1 to today, I have increased my Hive Power by +1492.59 HP and improved my previous monthly result (+1207.98 HP) but for the third month in a row I have not reached my monthly increase goal and therefore my intermediate goal for April increases: 2445.76->2564.91.

I have definitely set a hard-to-achieve annual goal, but in my opinion a goal must always be hard to achieve otherwise it loses its stimulating and motivating power.

Every first of the month I also like to check my level of interaction on Hive.

The two elements I consider most important for growing on Hive are in order of importance:

• interaction
• consistency in posting.

These two elements are strongly interrelated but interaction is in my opinion the most important element.

Why a Hive user should read and comment on one of your posts if you don't read and comment on other authors' post?

If you are a new Hive user, I recommend that you always give a lot of importance to interaction and try to maintain a comments/posts ratio of at least 10/1.

My goal related to interaction is to achieve a Comments/Posts ratio >= 20.

In my previous report, I could not calculate my Comments/Posts ratio because the site https://hivebuzz.me/ranking was being updated and maintained.

Now the hivebuzz.me site is back up and fully functional and I was able to make this calculation relative to the last two months.

In the last two months I published 54 posts and wrote 1314 comments and my Comments/Posts ratio was 24.33.

But my goal is to achieve a Comments/Posts ratio = 20 considering all my activity on Hive since my registration (March 5, 2019).

If I look at the total number of posts published and comments written so far I have a Comments/Posts ratio = 16.52 but I am satisfied that I have made progress in the last two months because I have improved my Comments/Posts ratio:
+0.26

Every first of the month I also like to look at how the market value of the HIVE token has changed and compare it to the value it had at the beginning of the previous month.

On March 1, 2024 1 HIVE was worth $0.3776
Today April 1, 2024 1 HIVE is worth 0.4183$

An increase of +10.78% is a good increase but I still consider the current market value of the HIVE token to be an underestimate value based on the many utilities the Hive blockchain has!

My my resolutions for the month of April are mainly two:

• increase my consistency in publishing by trying to publish 1 post per day.
• increase my level of interaction.

In April I also hope to finally be able to assemble a new Personal Computer because my current Desktop PC is beginning to feel the effects of its many years of operation.

54K Hive Power Superato e il mio percorso verso 75K Hive Power!

Oggi è il primo aprile dell'anno 2024 e come ogni primo giorno del mese:

• mi piace pubblicare un post in cui controllo e condivido i miei progressi su Hive
• mi piace condividere un piccolo focus sul valore del token HIVE
• mi piace partecipare all'iniziativa Hive Power Up Day che è una bella iniziativa ricorrente di ogni primo giorno di ogni mese.
• mi piace fissare e condividere i miei propositi per il mese appena iniziato.

Oggi è anche il primo giorno dopo Pasqua e in Italia è un giorno festivo.
Tra ieri e oggi ho passatto due giorni molto belli. felici e rilassanti perchè non ho lavorato e ho potuto trascorrere tanto tempo con la mia famiglia e soprattutto con mia figlia Chiara che è la gioia più grande che la vita mi ha regalato.

L'unica nota negativa è che ho mangiato davvero tanto ma è stato davvero impossibile resistere ieri alla cucina di mia suocera e oggi alla cucina di mia mamma perchè sono entrambe due ottime cuoche casalinghe! :)

Oggi è anche il quarto Hive Power Up Day dell'anno 2024 che è una bella iniziativa a cui mi piace partecipare.

Per curiosità sono andato a vedere da quanto tempo partecipo agli Hive Power Up Day ed è dall'HPUD di agosto 2022 che non salto un HPUD e la mia intenzione è di continuare ad accumulare partecipazioni e badges su https://hivebuzz.me/.

Per l'HPUD di oggi ho fatto un Hive Powew Up = 111.45 HIVE -> +111.45 HP.

Con questo Hive Power Up ho raggiunto un quantitativo di 54480.72 HP

Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e ho fissato due obiettivi relativi al Hive Power (HP):

• un obiettivo intermedio: raggiungere lo status di Orca
• un obiettivo annuale: raggiungere 75K HP entro la fine dell'anno 2024

Sarà relativamente facile raggiungere lo status di Orca perchè sono molto vicino a questo obiettivo.

Infatti su Hive a determinati quantitativi di Hive Power (HP) si acquisisce uno status.

Guardando il ranking su https://hivebuzz.me/ranking la prima Orca con meno HP ha 57777 HP e quindi per diventare un Orca devo accumulare ancora 3296.27 HP.

Per monitorare i miei progressi verso lo status di Orca e verso il mio obiettivo annuale ma soprattutto per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui:

• segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power
• calcolo un obiettivo intermedio mensile che sarà più grande o più piccolo in base ai miei risultati nel mese precedente.

Dal 1 marzo ad oggi ho incrementato il mio Hive Power di +1492.59 HP e ho migliorato il mio risultato mensile precedente (+1207.98 HP) ma per il terzo mese consecutivo non ho raggiunto l'obiettivo di incremento mensile e per questo motivo il mio obiettivo intermedio per il mese di aprile aumenta: 2445.76->2564.91.

Ho sicuramente fissato un obiettivo annuale difficile da raggiungere ma secondo me un obiettivo deve essere sempre difficile da raggiungere altrimenti perde il suo potere stimolante e motivante.

Ogni primo del mese mi piace anche controllare il mio livello di interazione su Hive.

I due elementi che considero più importanti per crescere su Hive sono in ordine di importanza:

• interazione
• consistenza nella pubblicazione

Questi due elementi sono fortemente collegati tra di loro ma l'interazione è secondo me l'elemento più importante.

Perchè un utente di Hive dovrebbe leggere e commentare un tuo post se tu non leggi e commenti i post degli altri autori?

Se sei un nuovo utente di Hive ti consiglio di dare sempre molta importanza all'interazione e di cercare di mantenere un rapporto commenti/posts di almeno 10/1.

Il mio obiettivo relativo all'interazione è raggiungere un rapporto Comments/Posts >= 20.

Nel mio precedente report non ho potuto calcolare il mio rapporto Comments/Post perchè il sito https://hivebuzz.me/ranking era in aggiornamento e manutenzione.

Adesso il sito hivebuzz.me è ritornato attivo e perfettamente funzionante e ho potuto fare questo calcolo relativo agli ultimi due mesi.

Negli ultimi due mesi ho pubblicato 54 post e ho scritto 1314 commenti e il mio rapporto Comments/Posts è stato di 24.33.

Ma il mio obiettivo è raggiungere un rapporto Comments/Post = 20 considerando tutta la mia attività su Hive dal momento della mia iscrizione (5 marzo 2019).

Se considero il totale dei post pubblicati e dei commenti scritti fino ad ora ho un rapporto Comments/Post = 16.52 ma sono contento di aver fatto dei progressi negli ultimi due mesi perchè ho migliorato il mio rapporto Comments/Post: +0.26

Ogni primo del mese mi piace anche guardare come è cambiato il valore di mercato del token HIVE e confrontarlo con il valore che aveva all'inizio del mese precedente.

Il 1 marzo 2024 1 HIVE valeva 0.3776$
Oggi 1 aprile 2024 1 HIVE vale 0.4183$

In un intervallo di tempo di 31 giorni (1 marzo 2024 - 1 aprile 2024) il valore di mercato del token HIVE è aumentato: +0.0407$ = +10.78%

Un aumento del +10.78% è un buon aumento ma io continuo a considerare il valore di mercato attuale del token HIVE un valore sottostimato in base alle tante utilità che ha la blockchain di Hive!

I miei propositi per il mese di aprile sono principalmente due:

• aumentare la mia consistenza nella pubblicazione cercando di pubblicare 1 post al giorno.
• aumentare il mio livello di interazione.

Nel mese di aprile spero anche di riuscire finalmente ad assemblare un nuovo Personal Computer perchè il mio Desktop PC attuale incomincia ad accusare i tanti anni di attività.
