Learning from my defeats ! Dealing with water splinter top cards // Aprendendo com minhas derrotas!
Hello my friends, @legalizabrazil here and in this post I will present a little about how I have been doing to improve my game play and through my defeats, understand a little more about how to have a better performance in matches!
That the game has become more difficult is no secret to anyone, even with the separation of the MODERN and WILD formats competitiveness seems to have increased, the players are more experienced and even the BOTS are with better and more complex strategies for each battle rule. I've been playing for over a year and believe me when I say it's never been as difficult to rank up as it is lately.
The learning process that I'm going to discuss in this post is the knowledge gained through defeats, when you try to analyze which cards really made the difference for the opponent to win.
One of the most notable things during defeats is the individual power of certain cards, these cards make a big difference during battle and are considered TIER S cards, that is, cards that are individually stronger than others. To illustrate what I mean, I'm going to present this replay where I just took a beating.
In this game one card stood out in my opinion, the Axe Master, it is a card from the Untamed edition that has an amazing ability which is the Twin Strike , 2 damage already at level 1 beyond of an optimal speed, which makes him not miss his attacks so much. In this match he was useful because my Unicorn Mustang has magic defense, so his physical damage really punished me. His high speed, damage and skill make him a TIER S card!
It's curious how cards from old collections usually manage to be stronger than those from current collections, maybe this is purposeful so that they don't lose their value since now we can only use them in some ways, but to demonstrate the value of another collection card older I separated this other replay:
Her amount of health, along with her healing ability and high attack power make her a card extremely strong and useful, I'm talking about Sea Monster a Reward card that manages to calmly unbalance the game, it has what it is necessary to survive alone and ensure victory for the summoner who uses it.
Even with Water-type summoners we have a magical damage combo where the player can optimize their strategy using specific creatures that have their value increased with the synergy of Summoner Alric Stormbringer
But about this composition I intend to make a publication only about it, so wait!
PT-BR

From my experience, there are two main factors that will determine our victory or lose. These are the CARDS that we used and the STRATEGY that we employ.
I use mainly the Chaos Legion edition cards and there are multiple times that I beat this powerful cards that you mentioned.
Don't lose hope.
You might also want to rent some of this cards to increase your firepower.

Sometimes when your attack missed one or twice then you could gone over even you have a better deck, best of luck for your future game strategy and win.
