The bald girl

During my primary school year, I travelled a lot from one state to another before we finally stay in our home town. Getting their I have to start school so my grandma told my uncle to take me to the local school near our house.

On getting there, I was admitted with less effort because it is a government school and my uncle left me there and go back home. After the assembly and every thing, the headmistress call me and told me that I can only be allowed into the school fully on one condition and the condition is that i will have to cut my hair because they don't allow long hair in the school, both male and female are to be on low cut and that is when I realized that everybody was on low cut.

I was heartbroken because I don't want to cut my long hair, I will miss making my hair in different style and for that I decided not to tell my grandma about. That week was gone and I did not cut my hair and the second week, the headmistress called me again and told me that they gave me the grace of last week but it happened that I didn't my hair that week they will cut my hair on the assembly ground said the headmistress.

I don't want to tell my grandma because if I tell her she will want to follow me to the barber shop and chose style for me so I decided to do it by myself. I went inside locked the door and took my sister's scissors and started trimming the hair not knowing I was destroying the hair.

After some minutes, I checked myself in the mirror to see how I look and I was shocked to see that I look like a clown in the jester movie. I quickly packed the hair and cover my head with head tie because I don't want anybody to see it but unfortunately for me my friend mistakenly pulled the scarf from my head and my grandma saw it.

She scolded me for destroying my hair and told my sister to redress it for me and she shaved all the hair in my head and turn me into a bald girl. I started crying when I touched my head and couldn't find any hair, it's like she did it intentionally because she started laughing the moment I was crying.

I couldn't leave the house for days because I don't want the other kids to make jest of me. I stayed at home for a week and half before started going back to school and with that much time, my hair have not grow well and my class mates are calling me Ajirebi (one of the funniest character in the Papa Ajasco TV show).

Up till date most of my classmates back then still remember that name and will called me that whenever they saw me. I saw one of my classmate yesterday and when we reminiscing about the past we started laughing, after all this years, there are some memory that are hard to forget.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day

I can actually understand that feeling. Most of the time people who are bald are always make jest of and ridiculed then

Whenever I'm walking, I always thought that everybody is looking at me and it makes me feel shy and uncomfortable.

You do not look like a clown in a jester movie, those people who laughs at you, are mistaking, you are still good looking in that hair style, but do not cut it again next time, if possible, change the school.
