Ladies of Hive contest #80 LOH: Online shopping

Hello to the people of this amazing community, this week I will be participating in the LOH #ladiesofHive contest and will like to choose the first question.
With the arrival of the global pandemic, online commerce has grown into something routine. Do you like shopping online? Have you had a bad purchase, the product you ordered did not arrive on time, or was not what was expected? Tell us about your experience or if you still don't buy online, tell us the reason.
Before I don't like to shop online because of the preview I always read about what I ordered versus what I get. You will order for something but what you receive is not what you ordered.
Everytime I told my friends that I need to go the store to get some the I need, she always answer me with "what is than getting all the goods you wanted from the comfort of your own living room, shopping online certainly is more convenient than actually driving to a store".
My friends used to shop online and they always get what they want but as for me, I don't like online shopping because I like to check everything I want to buy thoroughly.
Shopping online can be convenient and saves time but at the same time it's risky.
In an online shopping, you can't check the items personally, you can only see the photos and the description of the product and what you see might not be what you receive my thought though being calculative when it comes to money.
I have once been entice by a particular item and I want to order for it but I got discouraged when I was asked to make direct transfer, not given payment options. My friends once told me that the reliable online shopping is the one that gives payment options. I cancelled the order and didn't buy it again.
Since then I don't bother myself to shop online but during the pandemic, I don't have other option than to shop online and I didn't do it myself, I ask my friend to help me with it since she's good at that. And when I see that it is the only easy way to buy thing I asked her to show me how to go about it so I won't be dupe. Since then I have been doing online shopping, I only go to store for what I need urgently.
It's truly convenient and saves time to shop online but if care is not taking,we can get scam.

Shopping online can be a nightmare, but if you choose reputable retailers, who have payment options, return policies and warranties based on purchase, it is convenient and saves a ton of time. Plus, it comes to your home. I'm glad you had someone to help you. Take care enjoy!
It is true though, if we want to check the quality of things, we have to see them personally which is not possible when doing online shopping, unless we already have a trusted online store to shop. Glad your friend is helping you :)
