Outing Class - Making Small Research

This morning, I did outing class. I made a small research with my students to a writing task. The task is to make a short exposition writing.
The writing should have some data to support the argument. Exposition writing contain critics to some issues like social, environment, and other matters.
This time, I gave tasks to my students to criticize the environtment near the school. The theme was about "Green Development".
I saw some new buildings near the school that will take up the green areas. Some land owners may sell the land to new owners to build some factories or housing. In the next 5 years, there could be a lot of buildings in the area. The effect was that the green area will be vanished.
We walked around. This was the first time I did an outing class. All the students looked happy. They also became active in asking some questions.
Most of the people here are farmers. They plant vegetables like cassava and herbs.There are only a few areas that are planted with rice. Some of the farmers also breed cows, goats, and sheep.
There were some major problems that I found.

• Some lands have changed owners.

• The farmers can not earn a good income because the land is getting smaller.

• The farmers are tempted by big money to sell their lands.
  
  We were back at the school after making research. We sat on Saung. Saung is a kind of small resting area made of bamboo.
  We discussed the research and ended today's class. The writing task will be continued next Monday.
  
  We finished the class at 11.30 a.m. After that, we had lunch together and took the day's prayer. Teaching teens is different from teaching little kids. I should be more flexible with the students so that they are not bored with my lesson. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy my post.
