Is it a good idea to invest in LeoFinance? 2023

Investments in cryptocurrencies are really very risky, many people know what has happened with FTX, Celsius Network and UST. With this I simply want to emphasize that when we think about investing our money in cryptocurrencies we have to know what we are doing, with this I want to emphasize that simply cryptocurrencies can be something really very decentralized, for example, Hive is a really well known blockchain, today I want to tell you a little about Hive and why this blockchain has been developed, but first you should know its history.

Steemit is a social network and it can also be considered as a really very attractive blockchain, a long time ago users in Hive were Steemit users, it's something complex but still Steemit is still working and Hive is like the 2nd part of Steemit, I want to explain a little bit better so you understand where to invest and why to do it, today I will touch a little bit some topics about decentralization and that's a nice thing, you can learn about investments in the cryptocurrency world, really what I want to achieve with all this is that you simply realize that decentralized investments can be safe and stand the test of time.

What really happened with Steemit?

This is where I want to mention a bit about Hive history, basically Steemit was a blogging platform in Web 3.0 and that is clear to us, eh I have come to read some articles stating that it was one of the best platforms in those years, for that reason many people have tried to acquire Steemit, what really happened was that according to users "Steemit is preparing to be a centralized blockchain", there are many rumors about Steemit and centralization, even rumors that I can not mention here, for this reason many people decided to fork the Steemit network to the Hive network, I remember that Hive was launched on March 20 along with airdrop 1: 1 for $STEEM holders.

Basically Steemit community users did not agree with some changes or maybe the acquisition of Justin Sun, there is really an infinite amount of rumors that Steemit was being centralized and with that many witness accounts were migrating to Hive and I remember reading some news claiming the blocking of those accounts due to a Soft Fork, when this happened the @good-karma and @blocktrades account were frozen, among many other accounts that had an approximate value of $17 million $STEEM.

Is it really a good idea to invest in LeoFinance?

Cryptocurrency investments are my favorite, but in this article I will be really honest, when you invest in decentralized things you are running a big risk and that is the lack of liquidity, lack of people, market capitalization and many other things, I will explain a little about what I am talking about because I see that it is necessary.

When we invest our money in something decentralized means that we are depending on all the users that make up the investment, for example, if we invest in a token that has $14 in market capitalization and another $40 in liquidity pools means that making a transaction of $100 is impossible, so I always recommend making investments when the number of users and investors is really considerable.

Now let's talk a little about LeoFinance investments and for that I want to talk a little about tokenomics, LeoFinance is a community that has a large user base creating content daily and that's really great, another very important point is that it also has a large number of investors around the world, What I mean by this is that LeoFinance is the most active community of Hive and that is really what has caught my attention, on the 15th of each month LeoFinance has the Leo Power Up Day which is basically something that adds value to the tokenomics of the project and that is something really great.

There are many funds in CUB and Tribaldex and that makes that $LEO has much more demand, in a few words LeoFinance is one of the best investments in Hive, but I want to be honest and emphasize that we need more investors in LeoFinance, we need many users from abroad to come to invest money in $LEO and be holders of the token, this will basically add value to the token and above all there will be more decentralization in the community, I must also mention that if we want LeoFinance to be maintained over the years we must create quality content outside Hive and one of the best ways to do this is to write really good articles and maybe if we make use of the LeoGlossary we can take advantage of this to position ourselves in search engines.

What opportunities do we have when investing in LeoFinance?

There are many investments in LeoFinance, I would really like to talk a little bit about those investments because it is a great idea to invest in $LEO because we can simply get passive income, there is also the LBI token which basically are very good weekly dividends, but this investment I recommend to big investors and I am not very sure if it is a decentralized or automated investment and that is why I don't want to invest in this token yet.

In LeoFinance we can find some DeFi projects such as CUB and PolyCUB, I think PolyCUB is not operational at the moment, I mean it is currently offering a very low APR% and that is a very bad thing for all of us, as investors we want to get the best APR% possible and that is something that as users we should consider.

Not only we have investments in LeoFinance but we also have investments in NFT like Splinterlands, I think LeoFinance has a strong partnership with this project and Splinterlands is a very stable NFT project that has been maintained over time, I highly recommend these investments, but my favorite investment is the Leo Power and very soon you will know why I would like to invest most of my money in this token, very soon I will be writing some posts related to this investment, I think in the long term it can be something really great and that's why I wanted to mention this investment, basically when we invest money in Leo Power we can opt for great rewards as holders of this token, I recommend to keep up to date with everything and above all read the official blog of the project.

See you in the next installment, remember that the material published here is for educational and entertainment purposes only, I am not responsible for your money and I recommend doing it at your own risk.

Welcome to HIVE/LEO .

You seem to know a great deal about the Steem and HIVE ecosystem. Do you have a SteemIt account? Do you have a friend who is helping you start your account.

This is a fun platform where people are rewarded with coins for writing blog posts.

The value of one's upvote is determined by the amount of coins one owns. I have 400 LEO. The system says my upvote was worth 0.017 LEO. The reward is split between the curator and author.

I have 5500 HIVE. My upvote is worth about 0.26.

The voting formula reduces my voting power by 2%. Voting power regenerates at a rate of 20% a day. Essentially I get 10 upvotes a day.

If I upvoted ten times a day for 365 days; my upvote would be worth 949. I get half of the rewards and the author get the other half. I get 474 HIVE and the authors get 474.

The LEO formula is similar.

It seems to me that one's initial HIVE and LEO investment should be driven by a desire to have an upvote that is worth something.

The minimum payout for HIVE is 0.001 HIVE.

IMHO: new users should simply buy about 80 HIVE POWER. This way the user gets a curation reward for each upvote. As I recall, one needs about 30 LEO for an upvote to be worth the minimum LEO payment.

I really don't expect to get my money back.

Since I was interested in the utility of the coins. I really don't see the initial purchase of coins as a classic investment.

If you are are looking for a classic investment.

HIVE is currently paying 20% on HBD savings. The system guarantees the price of HBD with HIVE. So, it is a fairly secure fixed interest investment.

A smart move might be to buy HBD and put a little bit of money in HIVE and LEO to see how they fair.
