The baby steps before a deep dive.

One of the rule of thumb I've been working with in all stages of my life, especially when I'm about to make a decision that I believe could be life-changing is to think really hard about what I'm about to do and also do a lot of research before taking that deep dive. It's an approach to take so I can always make decisions that I won't end up regretting.

I've been at that crossroads for a very long time and I've been recently thinking of starting a new chapter of my life. This new chapter is going to be a very long-term goal and it has to do with Video Podcasting. Although, the truth at the moment is that I'm lacking in so many ways. And, I genuinely don't want to do a half-ass project.

I feel ready in some ways to get started with this. However, my reality is that I just can't start it at the moment. There is so much I would have to figure out and I've been sleeping very late since two days ago because I spend a lot of time trying to do my research and learn some things which I need to know.

At some point this morning, I thought of an idea that involves just getting started with audio podcasting and then learning properly about what I need to have in place to grow it into video podcasting. I spoke about it with a few people and they think it's a nice move. I decided to meet Jennifer Navarrete, a professional podcaster who is also the founder of NAPODPOMO (National Podcasting Post Month).

I attended her Twitter space this afternoon where I got an opportunity to discuss with her what I'm about to get into. She gave me really interesting tips which I will surely be working with.

The whole podcasting stuff is one side of the coin. The other side of what I'm working on needs more intense research and I will be going back to the old-school style of working with pen on paper while digging into all the information I can find on the Internet world through my phone and laptop.

I thought the first quarter of this year was hectic. But, it seems like the main hectic schedule is just about to get started. I'm genuinely looking forward to this new experience. I hope it plays a big part in shaping my present and my future.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

I know you want to get it perfect but I think the knowledge you have gotten from your research so far may just be enough to get started. There is always room to grow with more experience and get better with time.
Sometimes we don't get started because we want to get everything right but in reality, when we finally think we have gotten everything right, we start only to begin learning in the process again.

Wowww... Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on this. I didn't expect to get this kind of fairly inspiring comment.

God Bless You so much for this.
