Have you figured out your limitations?

I'd normally agree that there are some limitations we face as humans and that's the truth, but the interesting part of this discussion is that having in mind that we have limitations is not enough. That alone can't get us through every situation.

There comes a time when we've got to be idealistic and optimistic. A time to evaluate ourselves, identify the limitations we have and still forge ahead to break those limitations. This has long been the way humans reached milestones in their success journey.

Surely, attempting to break through a limitation is never an easy thing. The easy route is the one that involves backing out and giving up. But, you sure don't want to be the dude that gave up because of a limitation, right?

What is this limitation all about?

Time? - We all have so much to do every day and these things require so much time. But, as you already know, all we get is 24 hours every day.

Money? - The Economists say that money is scarce. It sure is. In other words, despite all the insatiable needs and wants you have, the fact that money is scarce is already a limitation. Even with a credit card, there is a limitation to how much you can spend.

Knowledge? - We'd have people who have very high IQs and we have geniuses in different fields, but a genius in one area of life can be completely ignorant in other areas of life. That's another way to look at the limitations we face.

This topic of human limitation is not an easy one to explain, but I hope you got a good idea of what it entails through the aforementioned scenarios.

In addition to those, there are also instances of people being told that they are not capable of doing something or that they are not good enough. That criticism can also be a limitation to so many people. Depending on how you choose to see it, this also shows that those around you can be a limitation.

Some of these limitations are glaring at us. They are not hard to see, but some are well hidden. You need to go searching to identify them.

Whatever the case may be, identifying the limitations that are affecting your growth and development is one thing. What matters is the next step.

Once you identify the limitations you are facing, the next step would be to break those limitations. Even things that look impossible can become possible with the right mindset and motivation.
