Freedom At Last [Microfiction]

Hello everyone! This is my entry to the 51st ZapFic Monday Story Challenge that requires participants to tell a complete story in just 240 characters. Is it simple? Why not give this challenge a try?

I trembled in the handcuffs. I was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

My mother and sister clasped hands in the courtroom, silently praying the judgement would go in my favour.

I prayed too.

"You are free to go, Brady Joe," the judge said.
