Newbie Initiative Task 2 - Hive Guidelines and Markdowns

How are you all doing these days?
After a long wait, I was finally able to get on and complete my second task under the newbie initiative. It is an incredible task, and I want to thank @starstrings01 and his crew for their outstanding efforts; working with them has been an incredible experience.

MY EXPERIENCE SO FAR

To be honest, things haven't always been simple for me... Balancing Hive and my schoolwork is quite difficult..... I was recently accepted into OgiTech, a state polytechnic in Nigeria's Ogun state. As a fresher (new student), it's been a difficult position; everything still appears new, and it's extremely different from my secondary school activities; in fact, it's far more difficult than secondary school... I'm not sure why, but it was quite difficult for me in comparison to my secondary school years.

Now, returning to Hive, I have minimal experience because I rarely make posts or interact with people; in fact, it was my friend @mistural who pushed me to write today, saying it was critical that I do so before 12 UTC....

As I already stated, my experience is minimal, therefore I don't have much to say on the subject.

MY THOUGHTS ON PLAGIARISM

Plagiarism is when you pass off someone else's work as your own. I call it stealing because it's theft when you take something that doesn't belong to you without permission or without citing the source. By putting the source, I mean that you must inform us where you received the content by including a link to it in your post.

Plagiarism is a very awful conduct in my opinion, and whomever is doing it should stop doing it since offenders will be punished if they are caught stealing someone's content.

MY THOUGHTS ON VOTE BEGGING

Most people thinks that the only way to get an upvotes is by begging people to upvote their article which is very bad. I believe if you want people to upvote your post, engagement in people's article matters a lot because through that means, people can know you thereby visiting your post.

Begging for an upvotes is totally out of it and shouldn't be tolerated and those involved in it should put a stop to it immediately.

MY THOUGHTS ON POST RECYCLING

I had to laugh when I read this one since it's embarrassing to recycle your prior post; doing so indicates that you're a slacker, and individuals like you shouldn't be on hive anymore.

Recycling a post indicates a lack of innovation, as well as the fact that you have nothing on your mind, which is already a problem. Though I appreciate how difficult it is to compose a post, it would be better if you didn't publish anything at all rather than recycling.

HOW HELPFUL HAS THIS POST BEEN TO YOU IN UNDERSTANDING MARKDOWNS

My friend @mistural had taken the time to give the markdown instruction, and I discovered that in order to make my post a lot more appealing and neat, I needed to add a few things that I didn't realize I needed until I read the markdown guidelines. It has greatly aided me in the creation of my post, and I no longer find it difficult to use markdown to keep my work tidy.

So far, markdowns have assisted me in making my article look so lovely and imaginative, and I'm grateful for it. "Learning is a constant process," as they say, and I will continue to learn from people who are willing to teach me wonderful things.
