🏫 School Back In Session = Daily Lice Checks 🔍
This school year is shaping up to be a much easier one on me. The girls now ride to a school with a girl from the village whose mom we convinced to let her continue education by way of us keeping her moto gas tank full and her cell phone topped up. So far the girl seems to be a responsible and slow driver, but it sure is hard for me to put their lives in the hands of a fellow teenager.
Get Goofy 🤪
The true story behind this shot is that I had very little time for a Hive post today, so I snatched Monkey-B up and said "quick goofy photo for Hive," then put her down and let her get back to whatever she was doing. As I look at this photo, I realize I am getting old and that Irish DNA doesn't age well, particularly the ginger variety 🧔.
🥄 So Much Activity 🪣
I picked up a shipment of vegan instant noodles, seitan, and vegan ham today, and the family has been craving some noodles for so long that there was no family dinner on this day. Instead, each person prepared their noodles according to their own schedule, with Pov starting the trend, then Srey-Yuu joining after fetching a pail of water up the hill with her friends Jack & Jill.
As usual, Srey-Yuu tried to dodge my attempts at photography, but I simply stood still and waited for her to enter the house, managing to time the shot perfectly, just before she covered her face and lunged at me for a questionably playful attack.
Fermented Pickles 🥒
Monkey-B offered a smile while enjoying her fermented pickle soup, I call it that because I only know the Khmer name, not really sure how to refer to it in English. It's bean sprouts and cucumbers lacto-fermented with chilies and garlic, served cold in a bowl with the sour brine, and although I've failed to describe it in a way that makes it sound delicious, rest assured it is deliciously sour, or sourly delicious 🤔.
A Missing Ukulele Player 🎸
The last shot I leave you with is after our separate noodle dinners. Monkey-B can be seen with her iPad in the background, returning from watching her sister practice some ukulele strumming at the cabin. Srey-Yuu is very self-aware with her ukulele skills so far, but I must admit there were a couple of moments where she hit a groove and it sounded really good. I think she's on the verge of a stringed breakthrough very soon.

Oh... no,i laughed from ear to ear,when i read your rant in your post,which i really like about you when you greet @monkey-B to join quickly so that it can be photographed for content,this is very interested in your lulucon language.
But I'm so glad the family is always coming together, and there's always something unique in your family.
The noodles are among my favorites too,it looks very tasty as hell.
Thank you, I do my best to keep everyone laughing and smiling, although sometimes my jokes and antics aren't received well. We like instant noodles when we get too busy for cooking a proper meal, but it is very hard to find packaged noodles that don't contain MSG.
I see your new stove there in one of the pics, too! Awesome! 😃
It works quite well, and the diffuser plates above the burners disperse the heat more evenly, and this makes cooking with thin pots and pans a little more predictable.

Hahahahahahahaha. I feel you there! When I put a hat on I look completely, entirely, 100% naught but grey. Thankfully removing the hat eliminates that issue, but... damn.

Good morning my friend! Noodle one of my favorite food. It was so easy to prepare plus if you just put an egg as an extra ingredient it will be much better :DD oh not to forget some small chilly with lime 🤣🤣 it makes me hungry already.
Noodles are my favorite fast-food, but we are vegan, so no eggs 😉. However, we often have tofu, vegan pate, and vegan Chinese sausages, so those are often are protein additions. For me though, I am a spicy psychopath, so I often add a fat spoon of homemade chili pickle to my instant noodles 🔥🔥🔥.

Anytime we are lazy, instant noodles are a good choice. We usually add some extra ingredients to make them more tasty, and each of us have our own style that we like.
I wish to hear Srey-Yuu with her ukelele in future. ;). !PIZZA
She has a pretty good strum now, able to hold a rhytm from time to time. I think a 3Speak ukulele video will come in due time.
Cant wait to see her debut in 3speak :).

They are also glad to be back in school. I know they missed their friends, studying, as Srey-Yuu as always tells me, when she's at school she doesn't have to do any chores or housework 😅.
It's never too boring when doing chores and part of the chore is food altogether. The only set back being, you guys are vegans 🤣
The vegan thing is never a problem until we go out, then we realize how abnormal our diet is when the restaurant staff begins scratching their heads for an idea of something to make.
