Phew! After what seems like waiting forever, depositing and withdrawing #hive is now back fully on the #Binance platform. It felt like a really long wait for me. I am not only relieved, but happy to the fullest and i am sure it is the same case for other hive bloggers. I mean, that's the only platform to trade our hive tokens after all.

But why?

The days of waiting made me research on other ways to trade but unfortunately, I didn't find any. Or maybe I didn't research enough to find any. Did anyone find an alternative?

This just brought some thoughts in my head. What if the #Binance platform didn't restore the option of trading #hive tokens? What would have happened? So many people live off here and I cannot help to wonder what their fate would have been since this is their only source of income. Even though it isn't my only source of income, I felt the heat a bit. Now imagine people who live off #crypto trading especially on the hive blockchain. How do you think they would have managed?.

This thus, calls for a plan B.

And having a plan B means looking for another trading platform that we can use or even create another platform. #Binance is a very smooth ride when it comes to trading. Millions of people find it very convenient and easy to use including me. I don't think I have used any other exchange platform apart from #Binance. Or is their any? I will really like to know.

What did this little delay teach you?

For me, it thought me never to trust any platform and think that it is 100% secure and available. I almost cried these few days I didn't see any means to trade my #hive tokens. To add to it, I had an emergency to take care of and I didn't want to touch my savings at that point. I ended up doing a #P2P here on the Blockchain. And you know it is whatever price you are given that you accept because you don't have a choice to choose which price is fair for you unlike in the #Binance space where you have thousands of prices to choose from.

Conclusion

It is high time we started doing research on other ways to trade our #hivetokens without seeing the need to visit the #Binance exchange platform. That way, we have a feeling of security that if it doesn't work with plan A, we can run off to plan B to look for the solution.
