I was reading a thread on twitter about how a businessman who started selling food from his kitchen. According to him, he started using a very little stove back in his university days and sold to his neighbors and friends. Sometimes, he sold and a good number of times, he didn't sell at all. In fact he said he could count the number of times he sold more than the number of times he didn't sell.

So he devised a means of selling to his friends. He introduced the pay for a plate and eat the next plate free. He got few customers that period which didn't even make up for what he had spent. But one thing he did that caught my attention was the fact that he didn't give up. He was still very patient and was constantly looking for ways to continue to be relevant in His business path.

First of all, running a business is not easy. A lot of this big names we know today started from somewhere. If you listen to their stories, you will be shocked at what they went through to get to where they are now. But one thing is sure and that's the fact that they were patient. Patience they say is a virtue. And every business owner should be patient in their business because truth be told, it is not everyone that will believe in your brand. So you need to keep pushing and believe that one day, the world will embrace your brand.

It may seem like a dead end already especially for new entrepreneurs. You may not even see the result for the kind of energy and money you are putting into your business. Yes it may be very annoying and you nay want to give up. But then again, if you give up, you will never achieve that success in your business. Continue building your brand and be patient. All will be well.

Today, this man has grown from that kitchen chef to a well known chef with branches all over the state he resides and is planning to expand to other states. Imagine if he wasn't patient enough. Would he have reached this level? Of course not.

Don't give up. Be patient and your business will grow
