So contrary to what people say about not being greedy, do you know that your greed can make you rich? I know this may not sound so well but it may just be a common truth. We all know the disadvantages of being greedy but I am here to write some positive things about greed. After all just like they say, every advantage has a disadvantage and vice versa.

I have seen someone who made it from just being greedy. Being greedy here is being conscious of your situation and making very good use of it. For instance my greed can make me work harder to get more money for myself. Let's use football gambling as a case study in this article. When someone uses a little amount to bet with the hope of winning a huge amount of money which is in millions, we say he is greedy. What if he wins the money? Will you still say he is greedy? That's what I am talking about. Greedy people hunger for more. And it is that desire to get more that makes them keep hustling to earn more and more money.

But note that greediness too can wreck you completely if you don't know when to stop betting. I have a very good friend who lives off betting. Sometimes he looses and other times he wins. What he does is rollover. And if you don't have that heart to rollover your money, you may end up loosing everything you have worked for. He has bought a house and lives comfortably all through the money he makes from betting.

Generally I think greediness is both a good and bad thing. For me, it is a bad thing when you rip off people and do it without conscience. But if you work hard for your money without robbing anyone and you have that zeal to earn more then it becomes a good thing.

So having read from my point of view, do you think greediness can make you rich?

I would say yes, greediness has both the negative and positive influence.

Right. What matters is the individual and what he does
