POBPHOTOCONTEST: STONES, MYTHS AND ANALOGY / PEDRAS, MITOS E ANALOGIA (EN/PT)

Stones are solid bodies that are present in all ecosystems on our planet. The cultural diversity of civilizations, peoples and beliefs treat stones differently.

In the spiritual world, stones are treated as a source of positive energy, their strong vibrational energy raises human vibration, emanating positive feelings such as love, compassion and self-esteem. Its consistency is associated with the power of the elements.

An analogy used by humanity is linked to the famous "stones in the path", in this context, the stones are the difficulties, challenges and adversities that appear in the human trajectory. The fact that the stone is a very resistant object, we associate with difficulties in overcoming obstacles. When we overcome an obstacle, it serves as an experience for the next one. In the analogy, stones should be used as steps to overcome larger ones. Analyzing it calmly, it is an excellent context.

There is a popular myth that associates stumble a rock as a misfortune, you will have an unlucky day. This is an old belief, just like the belief about not walking under a ladder.

There is also the myth of the Mystical Stone of Larabanga, a stone located in Ghana. It is said that the stone returns to its original position after being moved, it is the place blessed by an ancient deity, it is believed to have the power to heal and curse people.

Stones make up various jewelry and are used in human constructions, their use is essential for the development of humanity. Even though it is an item so appreciated by human beings, there is a place where stones are not welcome, but they still visit: the famous kidney stones.

As pedras são corpos sólidos que estão presentes em todos os ecossistemas do nosso planeta. A diversidade cultural de civilizações, povos e crenças tratam as pedras de forma diferente.

No mundo espiritual as pedras são tratadas como fonte de energia positiva, sua forte energia vibracional eleva a vibração humana, emanando sentimentos positivos como amor, compaixão e autoestima. A sua consistência está associada ao poder dos elementos.

Uma analogia utilizada pela humanidade está ligada às famosas “pedras no caminho”, neste contexto, as pedras são as dificuldades, desafios e adversidades que aparecem na trajetória humana. O facto da pedra ser um objeto muito resistente, associamos a dificuldades em ultrapassar obstáculos. Quando superamos um obstáculo, ele serve de experiência para o próximo. Na analogia, as pedras deveriam ser usadas como degraus para superar as maiores. Analisando com calma, é um excelente contexto.

Existe um mito popular que diz que tropeçar em uma pedra é um infortúnio, você terá um dia de azar. Esta é uma crença antiga, assim como a crença de não passar por baixo de uma escada.

Existe também o mito da Pedra Mística de Larabanga, pedra localizada em Gana. Diz-se que a pedra retorna à sua posição original após ser movida, é o local abençoado por uma antiga divindade, acredita-se que tem o poder de curar e amaldiçoar as pessoas.

As pedras compõem diversas joias e são utilizadas nas construções humanas, seu uso é essencial para o desenvolvimento da humanidade. Mesmo sendo um item tão apreciado pelo ser humano, existe um lugar onde as pedras não são bem-vindas, mas ainda assim visitam: as famosas pedras nos rins.
