The CTP Tribe - A Look Back & Forward
CTP...
A bunch of entrepreneurs with very little blockchain background that had this crazy idea to bring their community to...The chain!
As soon as Hive Engine (Steem Engine at the time) started, we jumped on board. We were one of the first tokens ever created on the second layer and while it's been a very 'slow and steady' approach to building the CTP tribe and token, I'm so excited for the future of it all.
Let's go over some wins, some losses and some opportunities we see going forward with our tribe and related tokens....
The Good, The Bad, & The Soon
This was our timeline in 2021...And as you can see, we're batting about 500. I know, it's 2022...But hey, we're still here lol Seriously though, we are happy with the progress we have made but we overestimated how quickly we could get things out to market.
Let's go over it all:
The Good
We re-worked CTPtalk and while we didn't get the custom job we hoped for, building upon Outpost has been great so far. We have a few more tweaks scheduled for the upcoming quarter, but overall, we're happy with our front end :)
Our affiliate network has been launched to help streamline our affiliate programs into one central hub. We will be using this going forward to help serve all our members for our sites in the future.
FirePay and HivePay have been greatly improved. HivePay continues to serve the blockchain well and FirePay helps our credit card customers with constant improvements.
The big one, ListNerds It was launched and the platform, works perfectly. As for the inflation and the tokenomics...We're chipping away :) Lots to learn and lots to continue to build with the web's first blockchain based mailer.
The Bad
- Secret Project #1 has been put on pause for the time being. Secret Project #2 is actually built, but there is some major issues we need to figure out on a code level before we release it. Secret Project #3 actually combined our rebrand and launch of ListNerds.
The Soon(iverse) - Trademark - Khal and LEO!
Our custom built membership script is technically live...Wanna see it? Check out ListNerds. However the commercial version of it, is running late! We wanted this done last year but we're very close now to having it available to the market.
The split of CTP, to create 2 unique training platforms under one umbrella and brand...Is close! Along with that will come the CTP Team rebuild!
And finally, Secret Project #4 is literally....Game changing. I'll put this in 'later rather than sooner' though, but it's being worked on every day and when this is released...Oh boy!
Community Building!
This never ends! And during the past few years we've been working every single day with not only the CTP Tribe but the entire Hive blockchain as well.
We now have 3 witnesses. 1 for the Hive main chain (@clicktrackprofit) and then 2 for Hive-Engine (@clicktrackprofit and @ctplite). Obviously, we're HUGE fans of this blockchain and want to make sure we do our part to help decentralize as much as we can.
We're continuing to build the CryptoManiacs podcast, along with @taskmaster4450 and it's been such a powerful tool to help raise awareness for Hive as a whole. Heck, we're on episode 143 tomorrow btw ;)
HE-Index has been a huge success as well. Rewarding token holders with daily dividends and continuing to be one of the premier income tokens on Hive Engine.
Hive Pay and Hive Pay SWAP are used every single day here on chain. Our goal is to bring much more commerce to Hive and allow entrepreneurs to easily and effectively integrate Hive and Hive Engine payments directly into their websites.
The Hive Guide has grown to thousands of members. And since it's launch, we've brought countless new members to the blockchain. The platform is designed to help navigate the waters for new members when they are first onboarded to Hive. It's always free to use and join :)
And finally, the CTP Tipping bot was launched about a month or so ago. And the goal is to...Not only reward content creators with CTP tips, but to help distribute the CTP token. It's not how a project starts, it's what happens after it's launched. And it's so important for us to distribute this token as much as possible. Especially for everything we're planning in the coming years :)
Like I mentioned...
We did overestimate the speed at which we could get everything launched. However here's something I hope I showcase through my actions and not just words.
We'll be here tomorrow!
And we'll be here next week!
And we'll be here next year!
(God willing of course lol)
But the point being, every single day we are here, we're building. We're growing. We're learning. And we're trying to add value to this amazing blockchain and it's remarkable community.

First of all huge congrats to the team!! You guys rock. I have been impressed for a long time and I am very happy that I purchased those miners back in the day. Even though I do not post a ton about CTP worthy topics I do post occasionally about my busniess and how I am building a hive account that I am proud of. I still really respect and learn a lot from you all.
I even powered up 1000 plus ctp for the ctpsb power up challenge going on right now. almost to 50k ctp power.

I think you guys sticking to your roadmap is what makes the journey interesting. A lot of times people drop their thing and move on to something different. That kind of makes life a bit difficult in general. Good to see things are working out for you guys, all the best on those secret projects :)
This is true, we love celebrating "new" project, but we should strive to celebrate "kept going" projects.

Congratulations on the major progress that was made during the past year. It was a lot of great stuff that was released. Creating a plan to be measured against is the best way to proceed. Most people do not even do that. If there is not a plan how do you know if you are making progress. Lessons learned which will help future planning. Take care.

I do believe that CTP has found a permanent home on this blockchain.
