The soothing beats of music

I have always wished I could sing, but unfortunately, it has been one task I've been unable to learn. Naturally, my hands and brain seem to go faster than the beats of music, hence my inability to excel in any musical instruments. Nonetheless, the sound of music hits me differently, especially when it plays slowly, dissecting the lyrics for my itchy ears. Painfully, I'm unable to learn those songs despite playing them several times. Perhaps my solace lies in the beats and the few words I am able to pick out.

Music comes to me as an available companion, especially when I'm troubled and I need some rhythm to stabilize my thoughts. I find songs to carry messages and, oftentimes, satiate me when they are repeated as songs.

Songs are magical to my ears when borne out of passion, rhythm, and deep thoughts. I have been fortunate enough to attend a few musical concerts in my church, which often take place around December. The concerts are usually held within the congregation, however, and are lit with alluring designs to bring sparkle and life to the atmosphere. I have watched concerts on television where thousands of participants attend, oftentimes not having near or direct contact with the artists. Personally, I would love to see my artists of choice physically rather than watch them on a screen as though I were at home. Perhaps the outside atmosphere gives another vibe to concerts, but someday I hope to experience a few where I'll be close to the stage at least.

Naturally, I vibe to any music that has a good beat and passes sensible messages. For a while now, I have had a knack for songs by simisola SEE HERE who has made commendable waves in the music industry. She has released and won albums with different nominations.
The striking thing about Simisola as an artist is her captivating voice. I love her voice so much that I get carried away whenever I hear her songs. Perhaps she is the only artist I get to flow with the lyrics of her songs. Apart from her soothing voice, I find her songs relatable and interesting, often passing relevant and powerful messages. I have always joked that I should have married Simisola so that I could always enjoy her soothing voice.

I believe music is every man's companion, especially when we have found the right songs that speak to our thoughts or situations. Music happens to be the life wire that connects the sparsely diverse mind to reality, many times taking us to far-away wonderlands yet aligning us with reality.

I find it difficult to play music and do anything serious, like reading. Oftentimes, I am tempted and drawn in by the songs and their messages. This effect is a battle of the mind, carving a niche for the soul to lavish. Sometimes, I love the music loud, and other times, I just want to use a good headphone that can decipher the beats and the messages.
