One thing about this "gut feeling" is that it tells you what will happen next but the thing is that you can't place your hands on them. But then it becomes clear when it happens.

You're absolutely right in some cases. You know something isn't right. Just what that is, you can't pinpoint. But even the smallest inclination that something is afoot should be enough to step away.
