Headwings: My must-have cards (EN-ES) 🏹
Hello Splinterlands friends, this week I want to talk about two cards that I think are indispensable now that we have the Going the Distance battle condition in which we can only use cards with ranged attack.
These cards are Naga Windmaster and Ash Mirage the only two level 1 cards with the ability Headwings and with which we will reduce by -1 all the ranged attacks of our enemy.
Let's talk about each of these cards and how to play with them.
Hola amigos de Splinterlands, esta semana quiero hablaros de dos cartas cartas que creo son indispensables ahora que tenemos el condición de batalla Going the Distance en la que solo podemos usar cartas con ataque a distancia.
Estas cartas son Naga Windmaster y Ash Mirage las dos únicas cartas de nivel 1 con la habilidad Headwings y con las que reduciremos en -1 todos los ataques a distancia de nuestro enemigo.
Vamos a hablar de cada una de éstas cartas y cómo jugar con ellas.
NAGA WINDMASTER
First of all we have Naga Windmaster one of my favorite cards if I'm going to fight against creatures with ranged attack. This card from the Reward edition and Water element is perfect for its low mana cost, only 4 points. It also has 1 point of ranged attack, 2 points of speed and 3 points of vitality, all at level 1.
An ideal card to use if we also have the battle condition Little League.
En primer lugar tenemos a Naga Windmaster una de mis cartas favoritas si voy a luchar contra criaturas con ataque a distancia. Ésta carta de la edición Reward y del elemento Agua es perfecta por su escaso coste de maná, tan sólo 4 puntos. Además cuenta con 1 punto de ataque a distancia, 2 puntos de velocidad y 3 puntos de vitalidad, todo ello a nivel 1.
Una carta ideal para usar si además contamos con la condición de batalla Little League.

Among its abilities, Headwings is available at level 1 and has Shatter at level 5 and Poison at level 8. Most importantly, it is a card of rare rarity which makes it more affordable in the market.
Entre sus habilidades, destaca que Headwings está disponible a nivel 1 y cuanta con Shatter a nivel 5 y Poison a nivel 8. Lo más importante es que es una carta de rareza rara lo que la hace más asequible en el mercado.
ASH MIRAGE
On the other hand we have Ash Mirage a card of the new Riftwatchers edition. This fire element card is very powerful as it has 2 points of ranged attack, 4 points of speed and 6 points of vitality at level 1. Its cost is 7 points of mana.
Por otro lado tenemos a Ash Mirage una carta de la nueva edición Riftwatchers. Esta carta del elemento fuego es muy poderosa ya que cuenta con 2 puntos de ataque a distancia, 4 puntos de velocidad y 6 puntos de vitalidad a nivel 1. Su coste es de 7 puntos de maná.

**Ash Mirage is another card that we can use with the ability Headwings at level 1. It is also very important that it is of common rarity, which allows us to access it without too many problems. Besides all this, you will learn the ability Reflection Shield at level 6.
Ash Mirage es otra de las cartas que podemos usar con la habilidad Headwings a nivel 1. Además es muy importante que sea de rareza común lo que nos permite acceder a ella sin demasiados problemas. A parte de todo esto, aprenderá la habilidad Reflection Shield a nivel 6.

The 2 other options left with the Headwings ability and ranged attack would be Queen of Crows, a very powerful card from the Riftwatchers edition that would learn the ability at level 3 and Soulstorm card from the Untamed edition and epic rarity that would have the ability at level 4.
These cards are not included in the analysis because they are much more difficult to get at the level needed to use the Headwings ability.
Las 2 otras opciones que nos quedan con la habilidad Headwings y ataque a distancia serían Queen of Crows, carta muy poderosa de la edición Riftwatchers que aprendería la habilidad a nivel 3 y Soulstorm carta de la edición Untamed y rareza épica que tendría la habilidad a nivel 4.
Estas cartas no las he contemplado en el análisis por ser mucho más difícil de conseguirlas al nivel necesario para utilizar la habilidad Headwings.
EXAMPLE COMBATS
The combat selected on this occasion is perfect to see how the Naga Windmaster card performs. A clear example of the good use we can make of this card.
El combate seleccionado en esta ocasión es perfecto para ver como se desenvuelve la carta Naga Windmaster. Un claro ejemplo del buen uso que podemos dar a esta carta.

In this fight we can see how my opponent will use the Water element with the summoner Kelya Frendul, a risky decision because even if he gets a +1 speed bonus and +1 to his shield, there are better options.
I have it clear, I will play with the Dragon element and the summoner Quiz the Devioux to penalize his ranged attacks by -1 and lower his speed -1.
Also having Naga Windmaster I will reduce his ranged attacks by -1 so any enemy creature with a 3 point attack will do only 1 point of damage. I also have several cards that are perfect when only ranged attacks and 4 or less mana points are possible, such as Fire Spitter and the amazing Merdhampir.
The enemy doesn't have too many cards that can revolutionize the combat and that allows me to destroy the creatures little by little, with weak but sure hits and without caring about the enemy's reaction since he won't be able to do more than 1 point of damage per card.
Finally after 6 turns the opponent is defeated, thanks to a good strategy selecting decisive cards such as Naga Windmaster and Quix the Devious.
En este combate podemos ver como mi rival usará el elemento Agua con el invocador Kelya Frendul, una decisión arriesgada ya que aunque consiga un bonificador de velocidad de +1 y +1 a su escudo, existen opciones mejores.
Yo lo tengo claro, jugaré con el elemento Dragón y el invocador Quiz the Devioux para penalizar sus ataques a distancia en -1 y bajar su velocidad -1.
Además teniendo a Naga Windmaster volveré a reducir sus ataques a distancia en -1 con lo cualquier cualquier criatura enemiga con ataque de 3 puntos hará tan solo 1 punto de daño. Además tengo varias cartas que son perfectas cuando solo es posible atacar a distancia y de 4 o menos puntos de maná como pueden ser Fire Spitter y la increíble Merdhampir.
El enemigo no cuenta con demasiadas cartas que puedan revolucionar el combate y eso me permite poco a poco ir destruyendo las criaturas, con golpes débiles pero seguros y sin importar la reacción del enemigo ya que no podrá hacer más de 1 punto de daño por carta.
Finalmente después de 6 turnos el rival cae derrotado, gracia a una buena estrategia seleccionando cartas decisivas como son Naga Windmaster y Quix the Devious.
