Hello Splinterlands friends, the time has come to tell you about one of the changes I have made that is affecting my Splinterlands gameplay the most.

After much thought I have decided to go back to playing in Wild and re-adapt to the large amount of cards available.

Due to a series of changes I have been forced to make the change and I will explain why.

Hola amigos de Splinterlands, ha llegado el momento de hablaros de uno de los cambios que he hecho y más está afectando a mi modo de juego en Splinterlands.

Después de mucho pensarlo he decidido volver a jugar en Wild y volver a adaptarme a la gran cantidad de cartas que hay disponibles.

Debido a una serie de cambios me he visto obligado a hacer el cambio y os explico el porqué.

WHY I RETURN TO PLAY IN WILD

Here I list the reasons why I've gone back to playing Splinterlands Wild Mode:

First of all the main reason is lack of time. It's getting harder and harder for me to keep dedicating 1 hour to play Splinterlands. Work, family and having to constantly upgrade to get better at work is taking a lot of time away from my leisure time. So for the daily fights I have the Xbot set up which allows me to have more time to spend on tournaments, Brawls and creating content which is the only way I can earn money to improve my Splinterlands collection.
The rewards in Splinterlands have changed and you get more SPS playing in Wild than in Modern. While it is true that playing Modern is much easier than Wild.
Another reason is the need to know how to play and face opponents with cards from other sets. Since I am playing tournaments I have realized that I hardly get good results when it is possible to use all kinds of cards. Although it is true that I only started playing Splinterlands 2 years ago and I barely have cards from the first collections, but it is still necessary to know how to face these opponents and to know all the cards to get good results.
The Fallen Angels guild has recently upgraded to Tier 3, which has allowed us to use 2 more slots and has increased the difficulty. That has made me consider the need to continue to get good results for the clan this time increasing the difficulty and selecting more complex slots.
And finally, the amount of spectacular battles that can be seen in Wild mode. There are opponents with incredible cards and although I have a modest collection, when you end up winning a fight against a powerful opponent, a smile appears on our face.

Aquí os enumero las razones por las que me he metido de lleno a jugar de nuevo en el modo Wild de Splinterlands:

En primer lugar la principal razón es la falta de tiempo. Cada vez me cuesta más seguir dedicando 1 hora en jugar Splinterlands. El trabajo, la familia y el tener que actualizarme constantemente para mejorar en el trabajo me están quitando mucho tiempo para el tiempo de ocio. Así que para los combates diarios tengo configurado el Xbot que me permite disponer de más tiempo que dedico a los torneo, las Brawls y crear contenido que la única vía de ingresos que tengo para mejorar mi colección de Splinterlands.
Las recompensas en Splinterlands han cambiado y se obtienen mayor cantidad de SPS jugando en Wild que en Modern. Si bien es verdad que jugar Modern es mucho mas sencillo que Wild.
Otra de las razones es la necesidad de saber jugar y enfrentarme a rivales con cartas de otras colecciones. Desde que estoy jugando torneos me he dado cuenta que apenas consigo buenos resultados cuando es posible usar todo tipo de cartas. Si bien es cierto, hace apenas 2 años que empecé a jugar Splinterlands y apenas tengo cartas de las primeras colecciones pero aun así es necesario saber enfrentarse a estos oponentes y conocer todas las cartas para conseguir buenos resultados.
El clan Fallen Angels recientemente ha subido a Tier 3, eso nos ha permitido el uso de 2 ranuras más y con ello ha aumentado la dificultad. Eso me ha hecho plantearme la necesidad de seguir obteniendo buenos resultados para el clan esta vez aumentado la dificultad y seleccionando ranuras más complejas.
Y por último, la cantidad de batallas espectaculares que se pueden ver en el modo Wild. Hay rivales con increíbles cartas y aunque yo tenga una modesta colección, cuando terminas ganando un combate ante un rival poderoso, una sonrisa aparece en nuestro rostro nuestra cara.

WHAT WILL BE MY NEXT STEP

While it's true that right now there are plenty of cards to buy in Splinterlands and the prices are affordable, I think I should stick to the strategy I've been following so far. **Chaos Legion is one of the best sets ever released in the game, if not the best.

There are still a lot of cards in circulation at reduced prices and hundreds of thousands of unopened packs. I think I need to keep improving my card collection with the goal of taking them to Gold League level (although my SPS is not enough to play there) but little by little I will improve the amount of SPS staked and in a few months or years, I will probably be able to establish myself in that league and have the cards ready for it.

For now, I will continue to participate in tournaments and Brawls while I get humiliated 😅

Si bien es cierto que ahora mismo existen infinidad de cartas que comprar en Splinterlands y los precios son accesibles, creo que debo seguir la estrategia que he llevado hasta ahora. Chaos Legion es una de las mejores colecciones que han salido en el juego, por no decir la mejor.

Aún existe una gran cantidad de cartas en circulación a precios reducidos y cientos de miles de packs sin abrir. Creo que debo seguir mejorando mi colección de cartas con el objetivo de llevarlas a nivel Liga Oro (aunque mi SPS no me de para jugar ahí) pero poco a poco iré mejorando la cantidad de SPS stakeado y en unos meses o años, es probable que consiga establecerme en esa liga y ya tenga las cartas preparadas para ello.

De momento, seguiré participando en torneos y Brawls mientras me humillan 😅

Y como sigue siendo habitual en mis posts, nada mejor que mostrar algunos de esos combates espectaculares que de vez en cuando aparecen y que realmente son el encanto de este juego, poder combatir con oponentes temibles con cartas muy poderosas y gracias a las condiciones del combate o el azar, llegar a conseguir una victoria:

Combat 1: I noticed that in Wild mode you still play very often with magic. So I had to rent Immortalis an incredibly effective summoner against magic. In combat, you can see how effective he can be when the ruleset is Wands Out. A must-have card.

Combate 2: Another opponent playing with an incredible collection of magic attack cards. His golden summoner Valnamor. In this fight I choose to use my beloved Grandmaster Rathe together with Blinding Reflector that thanks to its ability Magic Reflect and the help of Venari Crystalsmith and Adelade Brightwing make this card a fearsome enemy for my opponent.

Combat 3: Finally, the third fight I face the most fearsome opponent of all. He uses all his golden cards, for starters his summoner is Prince Rennyn The rest of the cards are very rare and although my strategy is focused on trying to attack the last position, I see that little by little I'm losing creatures until I can't take it anymore and lose the fight. Sometimes you win and in general with this kind of opponents it is normal to lose 😑

Combate 1: Me he dado cuenta que en el modo Wild se sigue jugando muy a menudo con magia. Así que me tocó alquilar a Immortalis un invocador increíblemente efectivo contra magia. En el combate se puede apreciar lo eficaz que puede llegar a ser cuando la condición de batalla es Wands Out. Una carta imprescindible.

Combate 2: Otro oponente que juega con una increíble colección de cartas de ataque mágico. Su invocador Valnamor dorado. En este combate opto por usar a mi querido Grandmaster Rathe junto con Blinding Reflector que gracias a su habilidad Magic Reflect y la ayuda de Venari Crystalsmith y Adelade Brightwing hacen de esta carta un enemigo temible para mi oponente.

Combate 3: Ya por último, el tercer combate me enfrento al rival mas temible de todos. Usa todas sus cartas doradas, para empezar su invocador es Prince Rennyn el resto de cartas son rarísimas y aunque mi estrategia se centra en intentar atacar la última posición, veo que poco a poco voy perdiendo criaturas hasta no poder más y perder el combate. A veces se gana y en general con este tipo de rivales lo normal es perder 😑
