This month flew by, it's hard to believe it's already June! The sun has gotten warmer, the grass is growing fast, all the summer sounds are in the neighborhoods, it's not spring anymore it's becoming summer.

The wheat is coming up, although not as many stalks as I was hoping for. It will be fun to use the seeds to get a second crop this year, if I can pull it off.

Our "old fashioned" rose is blooming. These flowers smell amazing and are one of my favorite plants in the summer months.

We had some heavy rains and it flooded our street. Thankfully the power never went out and our sump kept up with the water in the basement.

When this happens, we celebrate having lakeside property... for a little while. We have often thought about getting a "no wake" sign to put ups as a joke for cards driving through.

It's amazing what you can find on Amazon... which is almost anything.
