Airshow over our Home! USAF Thunderbirds
This is an original photo taken by me as four F-16 fighter jets fly in formation over my house!
The USAF Thunderbirds are practicing for the airshow at the military base near our home. Every few minutes we hear the sound of four very loud F-16's roaring overhead. It's sort of like enjoying our own airshow from the comfort of our home!
They were streaking through the sky leaving four smoke trails behind them.
It's sort of a gray day, but I got my SLR camera out and used the lens to zoom in for maximum detail. They were so close, we could see the cockpits!
They are so identical, it almost looks like a photoshop cloning tool was used! But this is really what I photographed over my home.
What's amazing is not just the sight of these four planes flying in perfect formation, but the incredible sound they make as they fly low.
They sound like sky-rippers!
With the zoom lens, it looks like they're toys flying in the air. Look out for our pine tree!

Didn't know about it until they flew overhead. Total surprise! I thought they were the "Blue Angels" at first, but looking at the photos, I see they're not blue.
