Many people think that cryptocurrency is the place where people come and make money easily without doing anything. So they come into the field and invest huge asset in any project without making any analysis. The invest the asset because of the manipulation of other.
And the expectation of some people since 100x 200x, blah blah blah.... Setting a realistic target is necessary otherwise they will loss the profit from their hand.

To invest in crypto,there is need to make proper and verified analysis to avoid what might cost you a fortune later on.
People expecting to triple their investment very fast in crypto to me is unrealistic as you said and that might be a determining factor why most people lose their investment.
