Doctors will confirm that in any kind of activity, from sports to sex, it is not the intensity that matters, but the regularity. The entire functioning of the human creature, both physical and intellectual, is built on this. Overloading of any organ, as well as its long downtime, is highly undesirable. Everything should be in moderation. This also applies to blogging, and there is nothing surprising here, because writing posts is as much a physiological act as any other.

Yes, but what about inspiration, sudden insights and other flights of fancy? Diary entries are not God knows what kind of literary work, but still it is creativity, intellectual work. That's what some newbie who just started a blog and excitedly kneads his fingers before writing his first post in his life might say. However, you and I know that intellectual labor, as mentioned above, functionally almost does not differ from physical labor. What success would Stephen King achieve if he spent time waiting for inspiration? Six hundred and sixty-six novels won't write themselves!

Yes, spontaneity is good, it gives strength and just refreshes perception. But after the honeymoon with its tides of passion, there always comes a routine, an ordinary family life, and there is nothing wrong or abnormal in this. Dimension and regularity create rhythm and allow strategic planning, which is quite important for a person who is going to live more than a couple of years.

With such simple mantras, I persuade myself to keep a diary every day. And, as you can see from the results, so far I'm not perfect. Well, I'll keep trying.
See you.
