Once upon a time, there was a man named Jerry who had a morbid sense of responsibility. He was the kind of guy who took every task he was assigned to, no matter how strange or macabre it may be.

One day, Jerry's boss asked him to plan a funeral for a distant relative who had recently passed away. Jerry eagerly accepted the task, even though he had no experience in funeral planning.

Determined to do his best, Jerry began to research funeral traditions from all over the world. He studied embalming techniques, coffin designs, and even different ways of mourning.

As he delved deeper into the world of funeral planning, Jerry started to realize that he was enjoying it a little too much. He found himself getting excited about picking out caskets and choosing funeral music.

Finally, the day of the funeral arrived, and Jerry was ready to put his morbid responsibility to the test. He had everything planned down to the last detail, from the flower arrangements to the eulogy.

But when the time came for the funeral procession to begin, Jerry realized that he had made a mistake. He had accidentally booked the funeral at the wrong cemetery, and the correct one was over an hour away.

Despite the setback, Jerry was determined to make it right. He piled the mourners into his car and drove like a maniac, weaving in and out of traffic to get to the correct cemetery on time.

In the end, Jerry managed to pull off the funeral flawlessly, even though it was a bit rushed. As he watched the casket being lowered into the ground, he couldn't help but think that he had finally found his true calling in life: morbid responsibility.
