VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK 9 - TEARS OF GOLD COVER

Hello everyone, it's another week for the vibes web3 music competition and it's week 9! At first I was so pumped to drop an entry because I was so excited to know that so many people are looking forward to my entry and also on Sunday I got a really unexpected surprise from someone and I was so happy that I wasn't even aware of what was happening around me because I was trying to digest everything that was happening.

So, what happened was, on Sunday during the vibes space where we get to hear the winners get announced, my network was acting all crazy and I couldn't listen to the space well and at some point I received a congratulation message from someone and I was a bit shocked because I knew I wasn't part of even the top 10. I had to ask questions from someone who told me that @edenmichelle gave me her win! 😩, I was speechless for some time until I finally got my voice. I want to use this opportunity to thank her once again for finding me Worthy of such honor.

It really means so much to me because for one I knew that win wasn't just for her but for her family because they did that entry together but then she gave it all to me. I also want to specially appreciate @pandamama for reaching out to me and letting me Listening to those beautiful things that was said about me on the space, I true appreciate everything and everyone for noticing my little efforts, it means so much to me 🤭.

During the week I faced a challenge with my tongue, I had a cut somewhere and I was thinking it was my throat but it wasn't. I had to go get some drugs to treat it but it was sad that I'd just have to bare the pain until it heals on it's own. I already had plans of joining the vibes competition week 9 so I still had to force myself to make this entry.

It's a cover of "TEARS OF GOLD" by Faouzia. This song is one song that I loved right from the first time I heard it. Prior to now, I've always thought most cover of songs do better than the original but this lady changed that mentality of mine because the original song was just as beautiful even more than some covers that I've listened to. Faouzia is one singer that I love so much and that's because of her choice of wordings and of course her voice type.

In this song, once again Faouzia gave a picture of someone who is so generous with love but never gets it back from those she shows it to. All they do is collect but never giving back until they get every penny and dime! I love this song for what it is and I do hope you enjoy my cover just as much as I did.

The voice is clearer, sweeter and full of vibes than what I've heard you sing before o 🤗
