TAKING MY ZING REWARDS TO THE NEXT LEVEL/WEN ZING CURATION REWARDS

Growing my Zing stake was something I always wanted to do in a way that I don't get too greedy with the benefits. When I started my journey with the Holozing project, I delegated just 50 hive power but after some days, I increased my delegation to 300 hive power which remained until yesterday being the 21st of January 2024. I actually had the intentions of increasing my delegation immediately the year started but then I didn't want my Hive power to be down too so I had to postpone my delegation.

About 7 days ago, the Holozing dropped an update about the Zing-posh rewards and how the posh rewards would end as from the 1st of February 2024 due to the fact that the posh token project has supported even more than it proposed. I was part of those who were lucky to earn good amount of Zing from holding posh tokens and now that it is certain that the posh rewards would end, I had to look for another way to keep having more Zing staked.

The only way that came to mind was to increase my hive power delegation to the zingtoken account which I did yesterday. Now I can have more Zing tokens staked to my account even when the posh reward ends. I was having just 300 hive power staked and now I increased my stake by 500 which makes it 800 hive power delegated out to the zingtoken account. Now my Zing rewards from delegation has increased greatly compared to what I have been earning prior to now.

Also, outside my delegation rewards, I've also gotten some liquid hive from liquidity which I don't plan staking. I have over 800 Zing in liquidity and it gives me quite a good amount of liquid Zing. I'm not sure if I've completely understood how the liquidity pool works because I've come to notice that the more liquid rewards I get, the less zing I have in liquidity. The first time I added some Zing to liquidity over 1k Zing, I noticed that I had 0.03% share but now it is reduced to 0.02% with over 800 Zing.

Now I'm not sure if I should add the liquid Zing back to liquidity or just let the liquidity drop completely, if that's possible. I'm not sure if anyone will give a response to this so I know that the work is totally on me to learn how liquidity pool works so I can know the best way to go about it both for my own benefit and that of the Holozing project. I feel there is more to the liquidity pool than just knowing how to add liquidity to it.

I was also thinking of powering down some of my staked hive for the upcoming starter sales for the Holozing alpha launch but then I realized I have just little and it would be wiser to just maybe buy some when that time comes. But if per adventure the price of Zing goes up, I'd just have to start powering down late while hoping that I must have gotten just enough zing from liquidity pool. Or I might as well just remove my Zing from the liquidity pool completely.

Right now I have over 2700+ Zing staked and even though it's quite small, I'm still happy that I have them without spending so much liquid Hive. My delegation and posh holdings helped me a lot and I'm so happy to just keep supporting the project in any way I can. Outside the fact that I earn zing tokens, I've also come to know more users on Hive thanks to the Holozing community.

I was just thinking wide and I thought about how it would be like getting some Zing rewards from staked Zing by upvoting Contents with the tag #zing and getting zing curation rewards. I know it's a game project and it's better to always have zing in liquidity than staked but then having more people continuously staking their Zing tokens sounds like a good way to make the token have even more traffic after the game starts.

And also, not everyone earning a lot of Zing tokens right now will be able to use their zing for the game which means if there is no other way to keep growing their stake, they might as well just sell it off and that can affect the token positively or negatively. This is only a thought and I don't even know exactly how it should work but I guess the team must have already thought of something like this before and saw that it would be better to keep things simple the way it is now.

That's a little suggestion to the team and I'd really love to hear your thoughts about it whether positive or not.

Have a great week Holozians 🥰

Good luck expanding your reward
Keep saving and hope the token moon with your bags.
One strategy is the DCA or dollar cost average, which means periodically chipping small amounts on the pool, daily, weekly or biweekly some small amount that eventually become something and makes it into a full income if you wait enough to pump.

Thank you so much for the best wishes. I've heard of dollar cost averaging but then I don't rreally know exactly how it works.

I explained it, basically put consistent amount periodically. Like imagining buying a cup of coffee every week to the pool.
