The Joy Of A Voluteer Has No Bounds

How do you feel when you need something in your heart you wish for a miracle to happen all of a sudden someone is asking if there is anything you need to be done for you. A times if you don't hold your emotion strongly you will just break down in tears 😭 because someone you never expected came to your rescue when you needed it most, all thanks to the helping hearts of those that gives their hand to be used as a tool for reach out to others.

This brings me to the topic of the day Volunteer. A volunteer is someone who offers himself for free services. It is free service because in most cases there is no monetary value attached to the services

I am a volunteer. This I have done in different dimensions and diverse locations. My wish is to alwayss give helping hands to people in need. It pains me to see people pass throughh difficulties and I can carry proples matter on my head even more than I carry mine. When people smile 😁 it gives me much pleasure and I have always sort for avenues to do so.

One of the work I can relate with is helping a widow pay her children school fees. I got in contactt with this woman through a friend during our conversation, she told me how difficult things have been for the woman and her children since the husband died. Then I just joined the hive blockchain, so i write about her and some well meaning individuals helped to raise the money. After that my friend was so glad and she decided to join the platform by name @helenchy. Through this people that don't believe on anything online are coming to join.

Also two weeks back i volunteered to teach the youths in my Local Assembly how to produce hair cream. It many not be possible to give all of the money to learn or start the business but I can teach them. They were so happy and some of them are willing to make some money from the business.

Volunteering has helped me in no little way, some of the things it has helped me to achieve includes;

• Being a source of joy to people is one of the things I have achieved as a volunteer. Imagine the woman that was not able to pay her children school fees the joy that she was left with. In fact she almost laid on the floor to greet but we stopped her. Later she was crying that we are godsent to her.
• Empowering people is another point. By giving myself to teach people some skills I have empowered them with the knowledge to go make ends meet for themselves
• By volunteering I have sense of fulfilment that people are finding hope through me
• It has helped me to promote what I believe in which is #hive #blockchain. What will I gain if I don't promote hive to people around me.
• I myself I know I will not be stranded because anyone that helps will also be helped when he needs help.
