Happy weekend friends, I am always looking forward to the community engagement topics because it has a way of keeping me busy and helping me thinking on a regular purpose as most of the topics are not just ones that one need to eñgage into without proper analysis.

In the last edition for this week we spoke about decision making, how one makes decision and the response when my decision fails. Now, I will be talking on how the advice I got from someone has impacted me.

As grown adults we are faced with lots of issues on a regular basis and which requires we take action or else something will get damaged beyond recognition. As one tree cannot make the forest so also one cannot completely brag that it is only his decisions that helped him this far, a times we seek for people's opinions especially when we are on a cross road. A saying goes "in the multitude of counsel there is safety. Asking for help or advice can deliver us from diverse distraction because some of these people have more experience than us.

Severally, I have sort for advice from people and that helped me in no little ways. I will share one of such advice. Some times ago I was in a state of making decisions on starting up a project, so I meet a friend and narrated what I have in mind to do and how stocked I am in chosing what to do at that point, the friend encouraged me to start up little and be consistent.

Start Little And Be Consistent

As little as this word looks it made much meaning to me. When I went home I kept poundering over it , I went as far as sleeping over it and realized that what the friend said was true. Most times we neglect the place of starting little as Roman was not built in a day as they always say.

The second part was the issue of consistency, staying on a thing for some time is a challenge that many people including me do face. A times we just need to learn this fact a impliment it as that will help us in no little way.

I don't forget those that play vital roles in my life at one point or the other, so I am so much in touch with the friend that gave me those advice. Time to time I try my best to update him of how far I am going with the advice and do well to appreciate him for how far he has helped me.

I think I have done justice to the topic of the day but as a way of conclusion, seek for people that will give you sound advice that will stand the test of time.
