It Was Eventful On The New Year Day

Hello friends, happy new week, just like yesterday when we stepped into the new year we are already in the second week, it is something to be grateful for. I do send you warm regards and pray that you have all your dreams for this week fulfilled.

Before I got married, the highest I do on the 1st day of the year is to go to church or stay at home and rest because there was an all night on 31st so I just need to sleep cook and eat. So since I got married the plans changed for me. It happened that every 1st day of the year he host's a special program to begin the year tagged 'Intimacy'. So we always anticipate for that special program and every plan is being made to make sure with becomes a success. This year was one of its kind because it was totally different in all ramification both in attendance and in organization.

Prior before then, I traveled with the kids to the Eastern part of my State which happened to be my place on the 19th of December, now every plan that we made is to make sure we return before 1st so I can be part of the whole program as I will not like to be told. Immediately we it was 28th we began to make plans to return, on the 29th, we set out to my place for a visit as there was burial that was scheduled for that said date. Deep within me I felt like staying back but at the same time there was an engagement. Looking at what I face while we traveled I wished that there was someone to help me out. We got to our destination at exactly 1AM that was 31st already which was Sunday. Monday was first January we had to go for 7 AM service before going over for the program.

Everything I wished for for the first day of the year was really available for me. As we got to my husband's place there was already food as the children refused to eat because they heard they are going to see their grand parents, so we eat the food and took the zobo and Kwunu drinks. It was a wonderful outing for me.

After a while my sister in-law and I went over for the program and it was power packed. I couldn't wish for something more at that time because it was a perfect one indeed, but we keep improving as the day rolls by. I wish that first of January happens every month but that's not possible you know? Immediately after the program made our way back to my parents in-law and it was a beautiful evening with them all. When we prepared to depart the next day, they wish that we stay for a while so we can spend more time in fellowship but was not so visible because we have to continue our activities for the year.
