SPLINTERLANDS BATTTLE MAGE SECRETS: BEWARE OF SNIPE MONSTERS WHEN EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY IS GIVEN

[source](

Hello splinterlands lovers across the world, how are you doing today? I should have written this article since yesterday but I was busy doing many things.
Just as usual, we are to share a battle with explosive weaponry rule.
The first time I came across this rule in battle, it was very hard for me to win such a battle. When Zaku legendary summoner was introduced to splinterlands, it made it harder for me. I began to seek advice from friends who were very good in playing splinterlnds; when I said it in discord channel, one of the big guns in splinterlands said to me, “use a monster with ‘slow ability’ to reduce the speed of opponents' monsters.
After an hour of playing splinterlands, I was given a battle with explosive weaponry and I made sure to use monster with slow ability.
I was very happy when i won the battle; I went to a chatting channel and shared my victory with them.
This method that I used when the explosive weaponry rule was given gave me an insight on how to defeat zaku.
Whenever I felt like my opponents would use zaku because I could easily guessed if my opponent would use Zaku, I made sure to use monsters with higher speed and a monster with slow ability. That was a method I imbibled to win zaku in most of my battles with zaku.

Since zaku is a summoner that gives all friendly monsters explosive ability: this is the reason I’m linking up zaku and explosive weaponry rule. Hence, if you have been battling with an opponent with zaku and you win, playing a battle with an explosive rule would be very easy for you.
This simply means you can use the same method while you are battling with zaku to fight your opponent's when explosive weaponry is given to you.

BE WARE OF SNIPE MONSTERS WHEN EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY IS GIVEN IN A BATTLE
After I understood how explosive weaponry worked: the opponent I was pairing with was much smarter. They began to use monsters with snipe ability more than any other monsters. There was a battle when my opponents used three snipe ability monsters.
I began to experience defeat in many battles because of the force of the snipe monsters; those snipe monsters attacked in the middle, and most of my opponent in the middle were already eliminated in the battle before the first round.
I started searching for the best way to end my defeat; I was very happy when splinterlands introduced monsters with martyr.
I began to use martyr monsters in the middle; and when this monster was killed, the adjacent monster increased their stats. I was using this method in some explosive weaponry battle, and in order side; I did not. It depends on the rules that were attached to explosive weaponry rule.

I also loved to use taunt ability monsters. This is because taunt ability monsters must die before an opponent monster can attack any other monsters in a battle. This is exception when a monster or summoner with scattershot is used in battles because such a monster and summoner do not recognize taunt ability- they attack in all directions.
This was one of the reasons I used The Kraken In this battle; if you watch the battle, you will realize that opponent monsters were attacking The Kraken.

It is good to use monsters with reflection shields; explosive weaponry and thorns abilities do not have effect in these types of monsters. Therefore, they are very good to use when explosive weaponry is given.

✅✅ARRANGMENT✅✅
The Kraken

Splinter: Water
Level: 1⭐
Ability: Taunt
The kraken was the first monster that came to my mind due to its ability. I knew that the taunt ability of the Kraken would be a vital weapon to stop opponent monsters from attacking in different directions.
According to one of the rules of this battle, monsters attack a monster with the lowest health. To be precise, if not the presence of the Kraken, Merdaali Guardian would have been first eliminated in this battle because it was one of the monsters with lowest health. But the Taunt ability of Kraken saved me from eliminating monsters with the lowest health in this battle.
If not the presence of the Kraken, the way opponent’s Venari Wavesmith was eliminated, that was how my Merdaali Guardian would have been eliminated.
That is the reason using Taunt ability monsters when equal opportunity is given is very good.
The Kraken was not eliminated in this battle.

Djinn Oshannus
Splinter: Water
Level: 1
Ability: Void
I used Djinn oshannus because I thought my opponent would use more magic monsters in this battle, using Djinn Oshannus would have reduced the damage done by blast ability. Oshannnus was the first monster got eliminated form my end. This was the reason that my opponent used melee monsters than magic monsters.
If I knew that my opponent would use more melee monsters than magic monsters, I would have used Alva the Crusher in the second position because of the shield ability.

Alval The Crusher
Splinter: Water
Level: 3
Ability: Shield
The most important factor I used Alval the Crusher was the shield; I knew my opponent would also use melee monsters in this battle; I used Alva the Crusher incase the Kraken and Djinn Oshannus were eliminated.

Isgald Vorst
Splinter: Water
Level: 3
Ability: Opportunity and Bloodlust
The opportunity and Bloodlust ability were very important; increasing its stats when it kills a monster was what i want to see. The bloodlust ability was very cool; and it was very to use in this type of battle.

Merdaali Gurdian
Splinter: Water
Level: 3
Ability: Tank Heal
Tank healing was increasing the health of the Kraken: and that was the reason The Kraken was able to stay to the end. If there was no merdaali Guardian, the Kraken wouldn’t have reached the last round.

Merdhampir
Splinter: Water
Level: 3
Ability: Life leech
I knew this monster would keep on improving its health as it hit the target.
