Greetings!

As a community, we have come a long way together over the years, and more exponentially since The Big Move. What we want for ourselves is to have a space where countrymen have a home to share the Nigerian experience and connect with one another. Together, we'll have a blast of a year.

Welcome to a new edition of the Hive Naija Weekly Prompts. This initiative is one of our activities to explore our creativity and foster connections amongst ourselves. Whether you're a seasoned creator or just discovering the joy of expressing your thoughts, these prompts are crafted to inspire and ignite your creativity, as well as interact with the creativity of others in the community.

ALL ABOUT MY FIRST LOVE - STORYTIME!!

Anytime she was around me, I couldn't speak the regular Pidgin. While everyone else(including her) spoke it, I was doing nonsense supri-supri. We didn't get to see much since we didn't live in same compound but I tried and made friends with one of my agemates in her compound so I could get to see her often. It still wasn't so easy but I learned an important information about her that would go ahead to water the ground for me; she fetched water in the evenings from the public tap.

Most times, my eyes will mistakenly jam with Franklin eyes and we will be starring at each other without knowing. Throughout service on the headquarters, i will only be focusing on him not my preacher. After church, a lot of girls will surround him... But yet he didn't even read my body language 😣.

What I do after making my first draft is to leave it and come back to it when my head is clear. When I come back to it I read my draft, in the process of reading it, I get new ideas and my draft of 100-plus words begins to increase, slowly but progressively my post begins to form and in no time my post is ready to be published😊😊
