Splinterlands new reward system and Other Big Changes

The next season of the splinterlands is going to be the more exciting and expecting more up and down in the game. The reason for the excitement is the upcoming update for reward system or I would like to call it change in the reward system which will take place in first week of April just after the end of current season. As expected every time when the new changes introduced their is mix reaction of players in initial days and afterward they get adaptive to same.

The Team is always introduce the new update in game, some time the updates are to make the game for fun and some time it is form the betterment of game economy. This time the changes in reward system are completely different as compare to the previous updates.

A new soul bond token has been introduced in the game - GLINT token. As the token are soulbond they are non transferrable, non salable in nature same a soul bond cards. The players will earn the Glint token for ranked play in place for focus chests and at the end of season also the players will get the Glint token as per their season end rating.

What will be the sue case of Glint token?
A new reward shop will be available form next season onward and the item form the reward shop will be available with Glint token. Players will be able to spend the Glint token for the different reward cards form the shop. Their will be a Draws system which will actually be decide the type of rarity you will t as reward cards. So the Draws will be available for different number of Glint token. The higher the draws the more rare will be the cards and more Glint a player need to spend.
Player will be able to burn the soul bond card for glints.
SPS will not be available as rewards any more.

I will take many updates as positive but some are not seams to be good. As per the official post the Modern format will get the 50% more Glint token, which I guess many players battling in Wild form at do not like including me as I am playing in the wind format only. This looks unfair for the old player or the players with old series cards. May be team wants to show that they are more concerned about the new players also as they also get criticize that they always favor the old players.
The burning provision for soul bund cards is good move and the players will love to burn those unwanted card in their collection. The soul bond reward cards along with the Gladius cards will also be burnable form next season onwards.
To decision give the power to plyers to choose the rewards they want. The Draws can be compare with the different leagues and the players are free to accumulate the Glint token (not necessary to use in same season) and claim the higher draws. Its up to players they want the common or rare cards or interested in Epic and Legendary cards. More is that that their is no expiry for the Glint accumulated so if some players want to use them after the release of new reward card then this is good option for them. The 50% more Glint will attract the more players to the Modern format, who do not want the more rewards. Exclusion of the SPS form the rewards is disappointment for me and I am sure for many other players too.
