Olá a todos, sejam bem vindo a mais um post sobre splinterlands onde estarei falando da carta Agor Longtail que pertence a edição de Riftwatchers. Caso você não conheça essa edição então saiba que ela foi lançada recentemente em Splinterlands e possui incríveis cartas para se utilizar no campo de batalha.

A carta Agor Longtail é uma destas cartas incríveis desta edição e para provar isso eu irei mostrar ela no campo de batalha para que você possa ver sua gloriosa performance na prática, mas antes vamos encher nossas mentes de conhecimento fora do campo de batalha através da história deste poderoso dragão chamado Agor Longtail.

História

As montanhas do Poleiro do Dragão alcançam o céu, seus picos rasgando as barrigas das nuvens que passam. Muitas espécies de dragão fizeram suas casas aqui entre os penhascos e saliências. Eles vivem em relativa harmonia, longe do incômodo das criaturas de duas pernas que povoam a maior parte de Draykh-Nahka. Há um que é diferente, no entanto. Agora que conhecemos sua história, vamos conhecer com ele se sai no campo de batalha, mas antes vamos encher nossas mentes de mais conhecimento através de suas estatísticas.

Estatísticas

A primeira coisa que você precisa saber sobre essa poderosa carta é que ela pertence ao deck de dragão (apenas mencionando caso você não esteja encontrando ela), a segunda coisa que você precisa saber é que o Agor Longtail possui 2 tipos de ataques (melee e mágico), então seu poderoso ataque será infligido mesmo que seus adversários possuam escudo (apenas a parte de ataque mágico).

Assim como toda poderosa carta da vanguarda o Agor Longtail possui uma grande defesa e uma excepcional quantidade de vida, mas não é uma grande surpresa já que seu custo de mana é 15, então para gastar toda essa mana ele realmente tem que ser excepcional em vários fatores.

Falando em excepcional agora vamos conhecer a suas habilidades e porque elas o tornam ainda mais incrível no campo de batalha.

A primeira habilidade é a Flying. Essa habilidade faz o Agor Longtial aumentar suas chances de se esquivar de ataques melee e ranged em 25% quando cartas que não possuem a habilidade Flying o atacarem. Para aqueles que conhecem essa habilidade já devem saber que cartas com elas se esquivam bastante e para uma carta defensiva como o Agor Longtial será de grande ajuda nas batalhas.

A segunda habilidade é a Taunt. Essa habilidade faz o Agor Longtial ser o principal alvo de ataques do seu adversário, então ele receberá a maior parte dos ataques (todos ataques caso ele esteja na primeira posição). Apesar de sofrer bastante dano por causa disso o Agor Longtial é bastante resistente e não irá ser derrotado com muita facilidade

A terceira habilidade é a Void Armor. Essa habilidade faz com que o escudo do Agor Longtial seja útil contra ataques mágico, já que antes de causarem dano na vida do Agor Longitial as cartas com ataque mágico do adversário terão que causar dano em seu escudo.

A quarta e última habilidade é Heal. Essa habilidade faz com que o Agor Longtial regenere 1/3 da sua vida máxima por turno. Por ser uma carta que irá receber muito dano, a habilidade Heal será de grande ajuda e irá ajudar ele a resistir por mais tempo no campo de batalha.

Batalha com o Agor Longtial

Nesta batalha eu me arrisquei bastante porque depositei todas as minhas esperanças no Agor Longtial e posso afirmar com 100% de certeza que não me arrependo nenhum pouco, não tem nada melhor do que você fazer uma estratégia para uma batalha e ela sair como você desejava.

A batalha ocorreu com 30 de mana disponível, não era muito mas foi o suficiente para ter o Agor Longtial e algumas cartas suportes na batalha para que eu botasse em prática minha estratégia. As cartas utilizadas foram o Agor Longtial (primeira posição), Hardy Stonefish (segunda posição), Scavo Hireling (terceira posição), Merdaali Guardian (quarta posição) e Crustacean King (quinta posição).

Você deve ter percebido que praticamente apenas o Agor Longtial iria causar dano na batalha (o Crustacean King também tinha um pouco de ataque). A batalha começou e eu logo percebi que meu adversário usou o deck de fogo e isso me deixou um pouco preocupado já que ele provavelmente teria muito ataque em suas cartas, no inicio foi um pouco preocupante mas minha estratégia saiu como eu queria e a cada carta que eu derrotava eu estava um passo mais perto da vitória.

Durante a batalha eu infelizmente acabei perdendo 2 de minhas cartas (Hardy Stonefish e Scavo Hireling), mas levou muito tempo para que fosse derrotadas então não ter elas no campo de batalha não fez uma grande diferença quando foram derrotadas, a batalha continuou firmemente com o Agor Longtian defendendo e meus suportes auxiliando eles com cura e após 6 rounds a vitória foi alcançada.

Se você assistiu a minha batalha deve ter percebido o quão incrível foi a performance do Agor Longtial (claro que os suportes também merecem bastante créditos), mas ele não apenas defendeu e causou bastante dano como se esquivou uma enorme quantidade de ataques e isso me fez me sentir mais seguro em ter usado essa estratégia. Realmente não tenha nada do que reclamar sobre ele e certamente vale cada centavo gasto.

The Agor Longtail card is one of these amazing cards in this edition and to prove it I'm going to show it on the battlefield so you can see its glorious performance in practice, but first let's fill our minds with knowledge outside the battlefield throughout history. of this mighty dragon called Agor Longtail.

The mountains of the Dragon's Perch reach the sky, their peaks ripping through the bellies of passing clouds. Many species of dragon made their homes here among the cliffs and overhangs. They live in relative harmony, far from the nuisance of the two-legged creatures that populate most of Draykh-Nahka. There is one that is different, however. She makes her home deep in the subterranean halls of the mountain range. Other dragons avoid her and few speak her name. Dragonborn know her well, though, and have worshiped her for as long as they can remember.

She is Agor Longtail, one of the biggest red dragons that ever lived.

Twice a year, at the equinox, a series of dragonborn visit Agor's lair to honor her. They bring tribute and Agor offers wisdom - a tiny fraction of his eternal knowledge. On the summer solstice, she leaves the comfort of her mountain lair and soars into the heavens, raining death down on anyone who dared harm her disciples. On the winter solstice, she visits Suam, leader of the naga and the Gloridax, to offer advice on governance, economics, the military, and other matters of state. There is no doubt, however, that Agor could destroy the Grand Consul of Gloridax with a flaming breath if he so wished.

After the invasion of the Chaos Legion, most dragonborn gave up their pilgrimage to Agor, and those who tried were killed. At first, Agor thought they had abandoned her, and the great dragon fell into murky darkness. She was angry with herself for letting these mere mortals affect her. She was a dragon, and they were insects—insignificant bits of life that meant nothing.

But every living being needs worship, and Agor was no different. Eventually, curiosity got the better of her. She ventured out to find out what had happened to her disciples. It was then that she saw the devastation wrought by the legions of chaos. Her fury sparked such a rage that Agor Longtail's roar nearly shattered the skies.

So with her power, her story is quite strong and now Agor Longtail flies over the skies in search of revenge and destroying all of the legion of chaos that cross her path. Certainly an incredible and powerful card that will be one of her main goals to have with this new edition.

Now that we know her story, let's get to know how she fares on the battlefield, but first let's fill our minds with more knowledge through her stats.

STATS

The first thing you need to know about this powerful card is that it belongs to the dragon deck (just mentioning it in case you can't find it), the second thing you need to know is that Agor Longtail has 2 types of attacks (melee and magic), then your powerful attack will be inflicted even if your opponents have shield (only the magic attack part).

Like every powerful vanguard card, Agor Longtail has great defense and an exceptional amount of health, but it's not a big surprise since its mana cost is 15, so to spend all that mana it really has to be exceptional in a lot of ways. factors.

Speaking of exceptional, now let's get to know his abilities and why they make him even more amazing on the battlefield.

The first ability is Flying. This ability makes Agor Longtial increase its chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks by 25% when cards that don't have the Flying ability attack it. For those who know this ability already know that cards with them dodge a lot and for a defensive card like Agor Longtial it will be of great help in battles.

The second ability is Taunt. This ability makes Agor Longtial the main target of your opponent's attacks, so he will receive most attacks (all attacks if he is in first position). Despite taking a lot of damage because of this, Agor Longtial is quite tough and won't be defeated very easily.

The third ability is Void Armor. This ability makes Agor Longtial's shield useful against magic attacks, since before they deal damage to Agor Longitial's life, the opponent's magic attack cards will have to deal damage to their shield.

The fourth and final ability is Heal. This ability causes the Agor Longtial to regenerate 1/3 of its maximum health per turn. As it is a card that will receive a lot of damage, the Heal ability will be of great help and will help him to resist longer on the battlefield.

Battle with Agor Longtial

In this battle I took a lot of risk because I placed all my hopes on Agor Longtial and I can say with 100% certainty that I have no regrets at all, there is nothing better than making a strategy for a battle and it turns out as you wished.

The battle took place with 30 mana available, it wasn't much but it was enough to have Agor Longtial and some support cards in the battle for me to put my strategy into practice. The cards used were Agor Longtial (first position), Hardy Stonefish (second position), Scavo Hireling (third position), Merdaali Guardian (fourth position) and * Crustacean King* (fifth position).

You may have noticed that pretty much only the Agor Longtial would deal damage in battle (the Crustacean King also had a little bit of attack). The battle started and I soon realized that my opponent used the fire deck and that made me a little worried as he would probably have a lot of attack on his cards, at first it was a little worrying but my strategy came out as I wanted and with each card that I defeated I was one step closer to victory.

During the battle I unfortunately ended up losing 2 of my cards (Hardy Stonefish and Scavo Hireling), but it took a long time for them to be defeated so not having them on the battlefield didn't make a big difference when they were defeated, the battle continued steadily with the Agor Longtian defending and my supports helping them with healing and after 6 rounds the victory was achieved.

If you watched my battle you must have noticed how amazing Agor Longtial's performance was (of course the supports also deserve a lot of credit), but he not only defended and dealt a lot of damage but also dodged a huge amount of attacks and that made me feel more secure in having used this strategy. Really have nothing to complain about it and it's certainly worth every penny spent.
