Aloha @mypathtofire, @ablaze and all music lovaz.

I've missed some opportunities to give and receive music on the ThreeTuneTuesday the last weeks. That's because of working like crazy on way too many things at the same time. One of the things was the preparation for my travels because since the 10th of this month I'm back in Yucatán /Quintana Roo.
It's a paradise for all musicians here in these sunnier climes. A lot of astonishing street musicians are playing all day and night long from all kind of genres.

Today, for our #threetunetuesday, I write about Kailash Kokopelli and introduce three of many good songs of him. One reason for choosing this interpreter is because it helps me to relax and travel into a world of sound.
I'd describe his music as tribal and calming as he uses many indigenous instruments like the Didgeridoo /Yiḏaki, Native American Prayer Flute and the way he uses the voice. You can find information about him that he's a pioneer sound therapist, artist, music producer and multi-instrumentalist.
Pretty sympathetic, isn't it?
And very different from my last TTT post about Tschaika where it gets very technical and specifically into heavy complex rhythm and sound.

The first time I discovered this music was during my training in Hangab last year, and it was the album Ursa.

Challenging to pick when almost every song is wholesome and includes various sounds, instruments, and styles. On balance, it is a lot about immersing into sound healing.
Hopefully I can trigger curiosity in you so that you explore further on your own than just the presented three songs 😎

Kailash Kokopelli has a lot to offer. But, to be honest, many songs sound similar. Which doesn't matter if you have a reading session with this music as a background, or a meditation journey where this kind of music can push your inner self a bit more out to travel far. Or when you write your Hive post, which is what I am doing at this very moment, writing these sentences.

This song above brings me absolutely to the American Natives. You can hear different flutes and sounds. Lovely backing noises.
By Natives, I'm talking about indigenous peeps.

How suiting because I'm in the land of the Mayan people right now.

I present you the next and third song from the same album, Ursa. Just because it's the one I have been hearing the most. A lot.

It's because I can identify well with the Didgeridoo and the kind of sound, the soothing sound of wind instruments, ongoing mantra and meditation.
And it reminds me how happy I was and connected me more with the culture when I learned how to do the circular breathing in Australia.

That's my contribution. Hopefully you enjoyed the music and I could give you new insights or some nice relaxing time.

If you know music which sounds alike, I'd be happy if you share your it with me.

Wonderful music ... thanks for introducing me to it. It does seem familiar to the tribal music I have heard except for the fact that most music I hear is more active and busy (for rituals etc.) rather than being contemplative and filled with space like Kailash's songs are. I need to look out for more like this. Thanks again for this gift.
