Way Back School Cleaning Activities Lead By The Barangay Personels

We want cleanliness in our area so that we can be safe from all kinds of dangerous and harmful insects such as mosquitoes. Here in one of the Schools of Manticao a massive cleaning is underway. Under the leadership of our good Barangay Captain and His councilors, they also help in cleaning the area especially in the School.

The scope of this School is so wide that it is better that many will clean and use modern machinery to clean the School Playground, outside the classrooms and also inside their Gymnasium. With the help of the School Teachers, and some Parents, they patiently cleaned every corner of the area. Remove dry leaves, wild grass and tree branches from the designated area where they will clean. I'm happy that I was a part of their activities because I was the photographer while they were cleaning. My mom is also involved in the cleaning because she is also a Barangay Employee. Mama is also one of the members of the Health Workers, and they play a big role because this activity is about the Hygiene and Health of every citizen.

Due to the size of the area, it is necessary to use a lawn mower to facilitate the work and finish easily. The person in charge of the Lawn Mower is also a Barangay Councilor because he has been working as a Caretaker for a long time while still in school. After 8 o'clock in the morning after the flag ceremony, the Barangay personnel and staff rushed to the School to start the cleaning. They carry their tinging brooms, Dust pans, Lawn rakes and Bolo. Taking photos for a Documentary to share with others the achievements of the Barangay in its jurisdiction will not be lost in an activity. Luckily, it was not a hot time to do the cleaning, and in order not to disturb them, I took the photo for them.

Those cleaned by the Lawn Mower are collected in one place with the help of BHWs or Barangay Health Workers. To get rid of mosquitoes, it is better to make smoke from the herbs they have accumulated. They are happy with what they are doing, they laugh, tease and tell stories while cleaning. First they cleaned the area near the First Level of the School. They finished their work quickly because of the number of them and they help each other in the work.

Barangay Health Workers partnered with the area's Peace and Order personnel in cleaning the area. This included the Barangay Tanods, and they were the ones who hauled and lifted heavy things such as sacks of garbage. They also cut the branches of the tree that are about to break, and the branches that are about to reach the Electric cable. The Parents are also together and help each other in cleaning the area, very grateful for all the help that the Barangay has given them. These activities bring joy to all students, Parents and School Teachers. After 10 o'clock in the morning other parents and students arrived at said School. They cleaned the Boung covered court, and others painted over the faded paint. It will add to the beauty of the area when the paint is new because of its different colors. This will provide an orderly and organized place that the children will surely enjoy.

Next they cleaned the front of the School. It is easy to see because it is close to the National road, so it is better to clean it so that people can be amazed by the beautiful and clean place. The activity was successful and everyone was happy, especially the teachers for showing kindness to others. They are also grateful for the help they provided for the order and cleanliness of the area.
