Hello guys I am happy to participate in this week's Prompt after a long while, guess I am welcomed ☺️?
So about this week's Prompt I will be answering prompt one which goes thus;

We've all attended weddings at one point or another. What are some of the things that usually happen in weddings that you detest or you're not particularly fond of.

Now this is my response:-

  1. Indecent Dressing :-

I have always said it and I will continue saying it that anyone that dresses haphazardly to my wedding ceremony will be bounced out because you can't come and spoil my day with your indecent dressing.
My gender is always something else when it comes to ceremony especially wedding.
For crying out loud you are attending someone's wedding what is it with opening of breast and cleavages.
As if that isn't enough you will attend a wedding and a bride all in the name of it's my day will wear a wedding down that is not good enough to behold.
Your husband to be owns your body so of what use is it when you allow the whole world have a glimpse of what you should be hiding.
I get marvelled seriously at such outrageous, extreme and indecent dressings to wedding.

2.Outrageous Dancing step :-

Another thing I am not comfortable with Is dancing anyhow, quote me right I am not against dancing afterall it's a joyous day and to think of it I am a good dancer ✌️ but a situation where one will be twerking and shaking her bum bum in someone's wedding to create unnecessary attention is annoying and all call for, for me.
One can still dance well without necessarily creating a scene.

  1. Fighting for food :-

One character or trend that should be checked in wedding ceremonies is someone fighting for food, Ah! this particular one is bad. You would see a matured man of woman fighting for food, this is really uncall for, this should be looked into seriously. One of my friends will say you can't come and disgrace your ancestors na😉, as funny as it could sound or be, some people really have to respect themselves when it comes to food.

4.Fighting for sovenier :-

Lastly some people should normalize going for a wedding program without going home with the wedding sovenier or program, even if you gave the couple a gift, you don't have to struggle and even fall down while trying to get the wedding sovenier or better still you don't have to grumble back home that you were not given sovenier gift.
To me there are better ways to act about all these and God will still bless you

I can't count many time I have gone for a wedding and not gotten sovenier not to talk of to eat.
In my local dialect (Ibibio precisely) it is always said that Idòko inò inò ikpòñg adò mkpò abúd meaning *** it's not only stealing that could be attributed to shame but other characters could contribute to shame or bringing someone's prestige down***.

If you've been doing any of the listed characters please change, a word they say is enough for the wise.
Everything should be done decently, modestly and orderly. Even the Bible says let our eating, sleeping and everyday life be placed as a sacrifice before our maker, ams may it give glory to Him(1st Corinthians 10:31)

Thanks for the read
I am godaddict

Ps:- All the pictures was taken with my phone and I own it.
It was taken at my friend's wedding ceremony
Thanks

I love how beautifully everyone in this wedding you attended is dressing, yourself included. Very chic. A true example of modesty.
