One of my worst dating experiences. I met this guy on Tinder, we started talking and it was going well. He lives in Abuja too but I have been really busy with work so I kept postponing our date and he has been dying to meet with me face to face.

Finally, we decided on having our first date. I didn't know what to wear for the date, so I checked my wardrobe and couldn't find anything other than trousers and tops and my church clothes. I don't usually go out but if I had to I would put on any of my jeans and a top of which I am very comfortable with.

So, I finally considered jeans and a top with flat slippers since it's almost dark so there was no need to get overly dressed. I felt like I had to delay a little in order not to be waiting for him to arrive but he arrived earlier than the set time and was waiting for me.

When I got to the venue, I stood outside and placed a call to him and then he came out to pick me up.

First, he wasn't the same person in the picture that he sent to me 🙅. I guess my expectations were blown off. He was looking darker and plump although he was still looking good but I thought he was fair and had abs I mean broad chest.

Secondly, he looked neat and seriously dressed that I felt I didn't dress up to his standard, my gosh! He is wearing a suit with a tie just like a groom ready to tie his knot to his bride 😬.

So, he seems not too happy to see me though I had noticed that through his expression probably because of how I dressed, I guess 💁. He ushered me in and we started talking. We made our orders, actually this was where the village attitude in him was unleashed, his suit couldn't save him. We ordered rice and chicken with soda. When he was done eating, he used his hands to remove some stucked meat on his teeth and put it back in his mouth instead of requesting for a floss. _{How can a grown ass man do such in public.}

While we were talking he kept using the word "mehn" It was obvious in all our conversations. _{And I think he was injected with a laughing portion from the previous Halloween.} 🤦 He laughed unnecessarily which was annoying. That suit, urrgh! He was sweating 🫠😅 the weather was too hot yet he wore suit, I guess to impress me🤷.

I was silent for the rest of the evening. He lacked some social attitude. After we left for our different homes, he called me but I didn't pick up. I later called but instead of a normal conversation he started off with complaining about my outfit, my hair. He said I looked like I was going on an errand for my mom, can you believe that? 😕 I hung up on him...yeah! I did that. It crazy listening to his nagging, I felt I needed more appreciation than nagging.

First,🤷 I was comfortable in what I was wearing. Maybe I needed a little touch up but like I said I was comfortable in what I was wearing.

Secondly, that was the real me in reality. That was me being my true self💁. What more can a man ask for? I think he needs a plastic lady. It's expensive and uncomfortable to be plastic but cheap to be real and comfortable and I ain't got cash for a plastic personality. Not then not now, period!

But as for him I couldn't tell him about his social attitude and how it disgusts me, I just let him be and that was the last time we spoke because he had blocked me from his page, WhatsApp and calls. What's my offense?
