Where My Mind Goes When I'm Not Here

It was around 8 p.m Jr had just given the "you can go now smile" after taking his good night kisses. He does this a lot, sleeping and smiling whenever I peck him on his forehead. I guess though his eyes were closed he hasn't gone that far into the land of the dream.

Tonight might just happen to be one of those nights, where my mind can travel so far and my imagination runs so wide until I slip into the sleep world.

Hubby is out of town for an important meeting and won't be back until morning, so tonight is mine and mine alone to do as much as I please.

I raised, looked out my window, and I saw a sign that says go-go-go there is no such thing as a limit tonight.
It was the moon in its full glory, calm and very bright. The kind that makes you feel like flying high, and be in there with them. I vividly see all its elements from afar.

Looking beyond the moon, just then I saw the future in all its full strength. There lies our dream home with a wide variety of assorted flower gardens about two miles through the backyard. All I ever wanted is a home in a peaceful and quiet city, with enough land for agricultural purposes and a garden full of flowers.

This is mom's favorite spot, she has been teaching me how to create a good relationship with them. She taught me the ones that require just little water, little sun to blossom into its full potential. She will say to me, like human relationships, the more you care, pamper and tend to flowers the more rewarding it can be. Having her around every now and then is a blissful experience.

This special feeling is not just about our dream home, I finally get my dream business on track and running smoothly. After all these years. I'm glad to be here doing the thing I love most.

Putting my creative touch to people's homes. I feel like a queen everyday knowing that some huge numbers of people trusted my service of giving them their dream home decorations. Securing my lifetime contract with the federal government is everything.

It took me a while to get here, so many huddles on the way and there were days I just wanted to give it all up and forget I ever had these thoughts but I'm glad I hanged on. As the end result is worth a thousand times more than all my troubles. If not more than words can be described.

Our family has reached perfect numbers of four. Hubby finding fulfillment in his job. Jr found love in his medical career and this pleases me so much as this was my childhood dream before doing business took over. His passion and dedication for human medicine is admirable. I saw it a long time ago that this is his divine calling.

Little Pea on the other hand is a fashionista, her sense of fashion right from when she was a little girl is very glaring. At the age of twenty five years plus, she is already making a great name for herself in the fashion industry. She has got one of the best fashion houses in the country. She has traveled around the world on business trips. Promoting our local culture through fashion. She will say "mom, if I don't show them our beautiful culture, who will?"

Ah! There seems to be no end to this night journey and my imagination. Just then Jr made that sound of "mom where are you? It is time for me to top up." I slide back to my bed, pat him on his back. Checked my phone and it was some hours into the depth of the night.

I checked the hive, and I could see it blowing everywhere. Mass adoption is finally happening. Everyone seems to wake up at once to see what we are building here and the kind of unlimited opportunities that abound. We started trending in all exchange sites across the globe with one hive at $10. We suddenly become the song on everyone's lips everywhere you turn.

I took a deep breath and told myself, if I can dream it I can achieve it. I already know what, I just have to figure out how, when and where.

This is where my mind goes sometimes when I'm not here but physically present.
