See Who Wants To Go On A Bicycle Ride Today

Greetings #cyclist and bikes enthusiasts 🥰🙏 I'm very excited to share my first post in this community, talking about my son's bicycle 🚲

Given to him as a gift from his first cousin when he was just a few months in my belly two years ago.

This morning he walked up to his bicycle in one corner of the house where it has been packed for ages, waiting for him to grow up and take ownership of it.

I guess in his one-year-and-a-half life, he just took very good notice of it for the very first time and it seems to grab his interest.

He wrapped one of its hands and tried to mount the back but it was a bit too high for him.

what now? star boy, it is time for your morning bath, do you want to go on a bicycle ride?

He looked at me with a cool smile on his face then nodded his head in agreement.

"Oh, no, baby, don't you think you are still a little bit early for going on a bicycle ride?"

His hands are still fixed on the bike, with a non-smiling face, telling me he does not agree with what I just said.

"Okay, then, if we are going to do this, it is just going to be for a little few minutes, alright? I have a lot on my plate this morning.

I put him in the back seat, stood beside him, while I held the two hands, and started moving slowly from the inside house towards the outside.

He was filled with so much excitement and shouted, haha, with a beautiful smile on his face. I concluded in my mind that this might last a little bit longer than I thought.

We moved outsiders and continued moving around inside the compound. With so much fun and laughter😊

Until I lost track of time. "Alright, this will be all for today, it's time to go get that bath shall we?"

He wasn't ready to leave hahaha not until I had to distract him with his favorite juice.

Doing this with my son today was so fun, it not only created a bond between us but brought back one of my favorite childhood memories, where I used to sit on my Dad's bicycle, he would put thick clothes on the iron sit, and ask me to sit and hold onto tight to the hand and off we go on a long ride.

And me being able to recreate this memory with him is so awesome 😊

I love his Simba bicycle so much, for its vibrant red color and its build and balanced body structure, Which provides a safe ride for kids.

He is still very little to ride it for now, and I can't wait for him to get to that age where he will be able to learn and explore riding it.

For not being in use for a while, we are going to have to take it for some repairs. The neck bots are a little bit too stiff and the back tire might need to be changed. Hopefully, we will get good bike repairs around to get it fixed for him. Hence I'm going to take it out once in a while and move it around to avoid any form of rot on its parts. Something I am supposed to be doing all this while but thanks to him today for calling my attention to it.
